My husband and I were there for 4 days. The unit was clean and comfortable, and the ocean view was terrific. The pools were nice and well kept. Vacasa stayed in touch and was quick to respond to my questions. The location was convenient to Pier Park and other places to eat. I would encourage renters to take advantage of the information about the unit on the Vacasa website, including the 3-D layout of the unit, so you know what to expect.
Pros: 1. The view from the balcony was wonderful. We spent many meals and relaxing nights listening to the waves. 2. It was very nice having a set of chairs and umbrellas on the beach included with the price of the room. We used this service almost everyday throughout the week. 3. Excluding the dishes, the room was clean and tidy. Cons: 1. Wait times for the elevators were unreasonable, even during non-busy hours. The issues were with both parking garage and main building elevators. It seemed to me, the programming of the elevators did not make sense for the order in which it moved between floors. I understand one of the main elevator systems were down for renovations, but it does not make sense as to why the renovations are taking place during peak season, as opposed to the renovations happening during the winter season where it is less busy and will ultimately cause less of an impact. There was also only one elevator in use in the parking garage. 2. It was not clear what number I needed to call for room repairs, if I had any. 3. The room was not supplied with enough dish soap, dishwasher detergent, toilet paper, paper towels and tissues. If there was an expectation that I needed to provide those items, I was not made aware. 4. The water heater in the unit was too small or filled too slowly, because there was not enough hot water for 2 adults and 1 child to take a shower consecutively. All week we had space our showers out to ensure everyone had hot water.
Nice resort, Clean, great staff, good parking, felt safe, nice view, great beach, elevators bad on check-ins/out and weekend, but good during the week. Get beach chairs reserved early in morning.
The views were incredible from the 10th floor but be prepared to either climb a lot of stairs or wait for the extremely slow elevators.
One television did not work. The other one was hard to get to a channel. We watched the same 2 channels all week. The hairdryer in the master bathroom was broken . Master bathroom had a clogged tub. But, that was taken care of. The hairdryer was never replaced.
