Spacious townhouse with shared pool, high-speed WiFi, washer&dryer,central AC

Located in a perfect location. We've stayed in vacation rentals before but this was a lacked some things. The biggest issue was the power outage. On May 16, the power went out for about 45 minutes. It shut off again on May 17 at approximately 7:30 a.m. while my wife was in the shower. Fortunately, we were checking out within the next 30 minutes, but we still had to finish packing without power. There was also no window covering on the living room door, which gave anyone passing by a clear view inside. At night, we had to place a sheet over the glass door for privacy. Another issue was the remote controls. They were scattered everywhere with no organization, making them difficult to figure out and use. Lastly, the access code was extremely long. A simple 4-digit code would have been much more convenient.

Perfect for what we needed

I recently stayed at this condo in Panama City for the weekend with my son. Overall, the condo was nice and very clean. It’s a spacious place with three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a half bath downstairs. It’s also conveniently located about 10 minutes from the beach. We did run into a few issues during our stay. Shortly after arriving, we accidentally got locked out when the door auto-locked with my phone and keys inside. Thankfully, my son had his phone and we were able to call the number on the window. The host answered quickly and gave us the code to get back in, which I really appreciated. There were a few maintenance concerns worth noting. We could only find one remote control for all four TVs, and no one came out to bring extras after I called. Not a big deal for us, since we don’t watch a lot of TV, but it might be for others. The freezer also had a leak — no ice was used, but frozen water from the ice maker started dripping out. I reported this, but no one came to check it out. Lastly, we were asked to strip the beds before leaving, and when I did, I noticed stains on both mattresses. This made me feel a little uncomfortable, even though the house was clean overall. To sum up: the location and cleanliness were good, but the maintenance issues and lack of follow-up made the stay less enjoyable. I wouldn’t stay here again personally, but it might be okay for others who aren’t too picky. I’d rate it a 6 out of 10.

I loved the location of the home. It was less than 5 minutes from where our son was playing baseball, super close to beach access, restaurants nearby and not a far drive from pier park and all the shopping! Home was gorgeous and spacious. Loved having the pool just a short walk away!
