Stylish condo with lake views, bike rentals, & pools - walk to the beach

This unit was nicely decorated and provided all the necessities to make our stay comfortable. The only downside was there was an ironing board provided but no iron. So not a game changer. This is my 4th stay in the Inn but my first in this unit. My husband and I look forward to returning!

Great place beautiful beach and weather

Where to start...the hardware for the curtain rod was coming out of the wall. The ceiling fan was hanging crooked. The floors were dirty and had sand. The curtains were dragging the floor and dirty. The bedskirt was dragging the floor and dirty. The front door was dirty inside and out. The walls were smudgy/dirty. The bathroom floorboards had black mold and there was missing grout on the bathroom floor. I think the furnishings came from a yard sale. The outdoor furniture was inside and was filthy. The bed was ok. The kitchen was ok. I asked to be moved but was told I could not be moved due to storm. This was Wednesday afternoon during normal biz hours before storm hit on Thursday and the storm was not projected to hit Panama City. The wifi in the bedroom was extremely slow. That's all I can think of for now. We were there for a wedding and left after the wedding. We had planned to check out on Sunday. Wedding was Friday night a d we left on Saturday morning. This room had not been thoroughly cleaned in a very long time...several years.

Carillon is the perfect beach community, and this was perfect for a beach get away!

First there was no one that could give us any kind of direction to our room. The girl in a Vacasa ofc had no idea what direction it was. After an hour of walking and asking with no help. We found it. The front entrance was a construction site and after walking thru it which we were told not to, we found our room right on the other side of the construction wall. We heard constant drilling for 3 days! It was terrible. The apartment had ants all in it. The pool gate lock would not work and if the right person came along it would open. Now for the positive: beautiful site, but no ocean like we thought, comfy bedding, on site food was outrageous and no good. As far as ever going back I seriously doubt it. It was definitely a great last minute deal but not even worth what we paid. The pool was beautiful. The lake was very pretty as well. My son recently passed and I needed to run away for a little peace and quiet … I needed to keep running back home. Bobbie g
