Beachfront condo with Gulf views, pools, hot tub & free beach chair service

I don’t even know where to begin. A new HVAC system is advertised multiple times in the listing… wonderful, right?! NOPE, the thermostat has an undisclosed reaction on it and you cannot lower the temperature below 69 degrees. The deadbolt didn’t work, which is a huge safety concern. The property has mold and mildew in multiple areas. The living room furniture looked dingy and one of the chairs has a section being held together by tape. This property isn’t even managed by Vacasa. You might book with Vacasa, but your reservation will be sent to Avari. Avari has a “sheeting policy,” in which they do not provide comforters, quilts, or blankets so you will have to pack your own. God forbid you have any issues because Vacasa will not do anything as they “no longer manage the property.” If you call Avari with any concerns, they will put in a ticket for the local agent to review and there isn’t a way for you to speak with a local agent. I called with concerns on a Sunday and it’s now a Saturday and I still have not received any responses or updates in regard to my concerns. I called daily and emailed daily. So, good luck with this place. Don’t waste your time or money here.

Wonderful accommodations.

We are snowbirds and stay for a few months. We have stayed in this unit several years now and love it. Unfortunately, this year there was an unexpected, weather related issue. It happened after regular business hours and we immediately contacted Vacasa. Darryl from Vacasa called us first thing in the morning. He said he was in the building next door and asked if he could inspect the property. Within minutes he was knocking on the door. He could easily see the floor damage from the door and came in for a closer inspection. He advised that he would have someone over by 2:00 to take a look at it to determine if it was repairable or not. The contractor came timely and unfortunately indicated that the repairs would require us to relocate to another unit immediately. This is where using a service like Vacasa, whose large network of properties, is invaluable. Darryl was able to find us another unit, in the same building, on the same floor. The move was seamless for us! Darryl and Vacasa took care of all of the behind the scenes relocation and within hours, we moved into our new unit without skipping a beat. Many thanks to Darryl and Vacasa, who not only saved the day, but saved our trip!!

We really enjoyed our stay in this condo. It was clean and quiet, just what we wanted. The wind was terrible and ruined our umbrella time, but it was still great. We will stay here again!

This entire condo is a 10/10 winner. Will stay again.
