Snowbird-friendly condo with waterfront view, WiFi, AC, access to pool, hot tub

We booked this unit for 18 nights for a temporary stay away from home. When we arrived, the unit seemed clean, however, there were 3 dead roaches on the floor. I didn’t know that roaches were regular occupants of this unit. Every night for the first few days, we would turn on the light in the kitchen, and the roaches would scatter. We would kill 3 or 4 of them at a time in the kitchen. We bought some RAID to try and manage the problem, we sprayed all around the kitchen crevices, sink area, counters (yuck). They were fewer (1 or 2 at a time) but they still scurried when we would turn on the lights. We finally called VACASA and VRBO for SOMETHING to be done. A week later we finally heard back from them both, wanting evidence of the problem. So, we had to literally take pictures of roaches for “proof”. We received a bit of compensation for the issue, but the roaches are still in the unit, so if you book here, buy RAID. Second issue – we had some rain while we were there. It was curious that there were NO curtains on the giant window where the burning afternoon sun would shine in. We come to find out that when it rains, this window leaks terribly, to the point where the drywall is cracked above the window where the curtain would normally hang. Suspect that curtains were ruined by the rain. Finally, This unit needs some general maintenance. Some of the problems from reviews 3 years ago are still evident. Some minor things – no broom, no pot holders, no baking sheets – some basic things needed in a kitchen. This property has some very positive aspects and this unit has so much potential if the issues are remedied. The view of the golf course and of the bay are outstanding. The location is fantastic for Panama City Beach. The grounds of Reflections are very well maintained and the pool and hot tub are refreshing. There are grills outside and move-in/move-out is easy with the elevators and luggage carts.

Exceeded our expectations. The Room and view was amazing. will stay here again.

Very nice, plush, and sparkling clean! Appliances are brand new and it even has a screened in porch overlooking the pool and Golf Course! By far the best place I’ve stayed in yet and I go to Panama City 4 times a year!

Very clean felt like walking in your own home you can enjoy your day then come back and relax comfortably .no problem cooking full diners then relaxing in the hot tub or very large pool would highly recommend

If you're looking for a beach getaway without the extra noise...this is the place!

The area is very nice. We felt safe. The pool area is very nice. Most days it was like a private pool. Convenient area to activities and we liked the beach on the bay.
