Oceanfront condo with epic gulf view, shared pool & hot tub, free WiFi, & laundry

I’m not sure why I take the time to do these. Nothing ever becomes of them but in a word, 1706 is ROUGH! If it wasn’t for the view, it would be a one-star review. I don’t know what standards you have for owners - if any - but this property has been beaten, abused, and neglected. Scrapes, chips, dents, corrosion, rust, cracks, wear, and mold under caulking. You could sand the bottom of a boat with the towels and I use toilet paper that is thicker than the linens. The key pad went out on the condo’s door and at the pool too. We were locked out for three hours. Thank God for Brendan though, the only five-star aspect of Ocean Villa. He was able to get and install a regular locket for the remainder of our stay. We made the trip to investigate purchasing an Ocean Villa condo but, obviously, we won’t buy one or stay again.

View was great, pool was great and parking not an issue. We have stayed on this property before and we're happy with the location. It's about half way between all the restaurants and activities up and down the beach.

Location was great

There looked to be mold around the air vents and in the showers. The hair dryer was full of lint and looked like a fire hazard, we asked for another one but we never got it. The refrigerator doesn’t stay cold so the shelves are covered in water by the end of the day. The mattress has a lot of stains on it. We also got stuck in the elevator for 25 minutes with no answer from anyone at the condo. The fire department finally got us out. No one from the condo ever reached out to apologize. We asked for a different room but of course nothing. We have stayed in much nicer in Panama City. Definitely won’t be going back to this one or using Vacasa again.

We booked this for a girls getaway weekend. The place is exactly as described and the views are STUNNING!! The patio is larger than I thought and the outside furniture is clean and not damaged. The entire place was immaculate (props to the cleaning company)! One thing to note, the mattresses in the two bed room are super soft and the mattress in the one bed room is super firm. Pillows also are soft. Being on the 17th floor, there was a bit longer of a wait for the elevator, especially with one of the three being down for repairs. The parking was easy, and I appreciated that there is a skyway to get to the parking deck across the street. We never had a problem with parking. Pool was great, beach is great! Just note, this unit doesn't come with chairs or umbrella (can rent for a fee). This condo really takes care of its residents and we were asked several times to show our bracelets to ensure we belonged there. We've been down to PCB several times and this was our favorite rental and I will seriously consider renting this unit next year...it was that fabulous.
