Breakwater Escape A 200

We have stayed at his resort many times, love the location and all the amenities it has. The condo could be updated a little and adding a table on the balcony. Overall it was great place to stay.

We had our grandkids with us for. 2-night stay and this unit worked great for our needs. Clean 2 bedroom unit and great patio view of the ocean. Super amenities such as pool and spa and designated parking space. Would be happy to to rent it again.

Great condo! Carpeted throughout. Minor issues with cleaning and could have a few more beach amenities (had two boogie boards, one chair and one umbrella). Definitely would stay again. Great use of space for beds in the second bedroom. Decorated very nice!

Having stayed in many of the units at North Coast Village, over the past 20 years, I feel qualified to compare and review this unit. The unit was very homey and comfortable, and kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, dishes and utensils. We cooked a number of meals, and didn’t have any problems. There was a great supply of beach gear, toys, boogie boards, chairs, an umbrella that works (rare find!), and even a cart to carry the gear! The great kind of takes over the balcony, but there is still plenty of space to sit out and enjoy the great view, which is actually beatiful, and much better than I was expecting given the location of the unit. There was a lot of carpet in the unit compared to many others in the complex, but it was in great shape, so we didn’t mind it at all. It was soft and clean and added to the comfort. I heard the beds in the secondary room were very comfortable. The king in the master was adequate. There are ceiling fans throughout. There is only one portable fan, so we had to move it from the front room to the secondary bedroom every night, but as long as we did that it was comfortable. The master bedroom has 2 windows so can get a good breeze blowing through. If you like to sleep very cool, I’d suggest bringing and extra fan or 2 in the summer. A couple of negatives- many of the units have been renovated and updated. This unit has not. The kitchen cabinets are showing their age- wasn’t problem for us at all. If you have young kids that prefer a bath to a shower, this may not be the unit for you- it has a tub, but it doesn’t have a plug, so unless you bring your own, you won’t be using it for a bath. Finally- I want to mention location. I love North Coast Village, and it is so close to the beach I don’t think there is a unit with a bad location! And, I love the A units with their own pool and hot tub, and easy walk to the beach. Having said that, people should be aware that this unit is, I think, the closest to Pacific St. in the whole complex. The street noise can get pretty loud at night, even on week days. Don’t plan to fall asleep to the sound of waves. But, if you bring fans from home, the fan noise would help to drown out the street noise. I wouldn’t let it keep you from booking, just bring a sound machine or loud fan! Overall this was a fabulous, clean, comfortable condo. If you’re debating, stop, and just book it! You’ll love it!!!

Location is perfect for a relaxing getaway by the beach. This condo has all the things you need to be comfortable. The only negative is the road noise due to proximity of train tracks and tourists. Otherwise, this property is beautiful and cozy. Like a mini Hawaii/Mexico feel. Definitely recommend.
