Shore Acres Lodge was originally known as Potters Camp in the early 1900s and has evolved into a unique collection of twelve mountain-style cabins along the shoreline. Sunset Cabin offers couples their own private cottage while providing access to the shared outdoor spaces and recreational amenities found throughout this historic Big Bear property.

Inside, the intimate 435-square-foot cabin provides a comfortable home base for your mountain getaway. The bedroom features a king bed, while a hallway three-quarter bathroom with a shower completes the accommodations. Modern essentials, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a flat-screen streaming TV provide added convenience when you're ready to relax after a day exploring the lake and mountains.

Step outside and enjoy everything the Shore Acres setting has to offer. The property sits directly along Big Bear Lake with shared direct lake access, a seasonal boat dock, fishing area, and lake-view spaces for enjoying the alpine surroundings. During summer, guests can also enjoy the shared community swimming pool on weekends from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

There's plenty to enjoy away from the water as well, including outdoor horseshoes, volleyball, table tennis, a large BBQ and picnic area, kids swing set, and group patio spaces beneath the pines. A charcoal BBQ is available for grilling, while the spacious grounds provide a relaxing setting for enjoying the fresh mountain air. One pet is also welcome with an additional fee, so your four-legged companion can join your Big Bear getaway.
