About

First, realize that a "crepe" is not a suspicious person known as a "creep." And a "creperie" is not someone who is "more creepy than another." With that out of the way and clarified, get to Gabino's Creperie when craving authentic, savory, mouth-watering crepes.

This charming bistro, the brainchild of a passionate husband and wife team, has quickly become a sought-after destination for crepe enthusiasts.

The inception of Gabino's Creperie can be traced back to Ramirez's childhood in a South American home, where crepes were a weekend family tradition. This early exposure to the art of crepe-making planted the seeds of what would later become Ramirez's lifelong passion and career.

In San Francisco, inspired by a local creperie, his fascination with crepes turned into an earnest pursuit. Here, the focus was on savory crepes and not the traditional perception of crepes as sweet treats.

Despite the challenges of introducing a new culinary concept, Ramirez's dedication to his craft has turned Gabino's into a destination for unique and flavorful crepes.

Gabino's Creperie continues to grow in popularity. It is open from Thursday to Sunday, 11 am to 3 pm, and is closed from Monday to Wednesday.

The cafe stands as a symbol of culinary innovation, with Marcel Ramirez at its heart, ever ready to welcome and delight visitors with his culinary creations.

Vibe

The exterior of Gabino's Creperie exudes a rustic charm, seamlessly blending with the vibrant landscape of Palm Springs. The building, modest in size, features a creamy coral-colored stand that catches the eye. It's adorned with hand-painted murals and whimsical lettering, reflecting the artisanal spirit of the place.

The creperie's playful and inviting signage beckons passersby with promises of a unique dining experience.

Gabino's Creperie is a unique, "hole-in-the-wall" grab-and-go spot that exudes charm and warmth. The aesthetic of the place is a delightful blend of simplicity and creativity. The walls are painted soft pink, creating a sense of comfort and relaxation, further accentuating graphic quotes that reflect the creperie's personality and ethos.

The restaurant's setup allows patrons to watch their crepes being made fresh, adding an element of engagement and transparency to the dining experience. This open preparation area not only showcases the skill and care put into each crepe but also contributes to the lively and interactive vibe of the place.

Gabino's Creperie: Menu & Drinks

The crepes are a blend of traditional techniques and inventive ingredients. The Chicken Ranch Crepe, for instance, combines tender chicken with fresh artisan lettuce, ripe cherry tomatoes, and crisp red onions. A creamy ranch dressing and the secret touch of Mama G's mild sauce are drizzled over this tasty meal.

Equally irresistible is the Chicken Caesar Crepe, where the classic Caesar salad meets the warmth of a crepe. This fusion combines succulent chicken and the same fresh salad ingredients, topped with a rich Caesar dressing and the signature Mama G's sauce.

The BBQ Chicken Crepe is a must-try for those who prefer a hint of smokiness. It's an indulgent mix of chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, sweet corn, and crispy onions, all brought together with a smoky BBQ sauce and the mild secret sauce, creating a symphony of flavors.

The drink selection at Gabino's Creperie explores unique blends and refreshing flavors. The Lavender Rose Yerba Mate stands out as a particularly intriguing choice. This drink is an artful fusion of the calming essence of lavender with the subtle floral notes of rose, all infused in the energizing yerba mate tea.

The Passion Fruit Yerba Mate captures the essence of tropical bliss. The exotic, tangy flavor of passion fruit melds with the earthy tones of yerba mate, creating a refreshing and sweet beverage.
