Animal Encounters at Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo

Kids and adults alike will love a visit to the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo which is home to over 300 animals, 199 sub-species, and 22 endangered species. Some of their attractions include a petting zoo, reptile house, educational stage shows, and rare animal exhibits. In addition, for an additional fee, you can get a hands-on experience with a lemur, kangaroo, or even a sloth!

Hike the Hugh S. Branyon Backcountry Trail – Rosemary Dunes Trailhead

This long and highly-rated trail is great for walking and biking. There are various in this ecosystem which includes areas of Orange Beach, Gulf Shores, and the Gulf State Park. You will even find a butterfly garden and plenty of wildlife around including deer and alligators!

Adventure Island is an amusement park in Orange Beach with all kinds of activities such as go-karts, bumper boats, kid rides, and lazer tag. Adventure Island even has a full 18-hole mini-golf course (with a volcano replica!) for the whole family to experience.
