About

Thrilling, heart-pumping, and adrenaline-filled outdoor adventures await at Action Tours California

Belinda Bain is not just the founder of Action Tours California; she is the life force behind it. Her journey began five years ago when an exhilarating ziplining experience in Colorado with her son sparked an idea.

Belinda envisioned bringing this adventure to Big Bear Valley. Her determination turned this vision into reality, starting with purchasing 44 acres of mountainous land to create a zipline course with breathtaking views.

Today, Action Tours offers many activities beyond ziplining, including rock climbing, tree climbing, snowshoe treks, and even water-based adventures like flyboarding. Each activity is designed to be accessible (suitable for ages 10 and up) and comes with the assurance of safety, guided by highly-trained professionals.

Collaborating with local organizations, they offer special events and themed tours, like the exciting Pumpkin Smash and the relaxing Zip and Sip.

Their involvement with local scouts, summer camps, the Wounded Warrior Project, and educational institutions reflects their commitment to being more than a business; they are a vibrant part of the Big Bear community.

Fun Facts & Cool Features

At the heart of Action Tours' offerings is their zipline experience, a standout feature that draws visitors from all over. The course boasts nine unique ziplines and a suspension bridge. It is set at a breathtaking elevation near 8,000 feet, offering panoramic views of Johnson Valley and Mt. San Gorgonio.

This thrilling ride is not just about soaring through the sky; it's a journey that includes an off-road adventure in Swiss Army Pinzgauers, enhancing the overall experience with a touch of rugged exploration.

The Segway tours complement the high-energy zipline tours, which offer a relaxed yet engaging way to explore the Big Bear area. Riding on X2 Turf model Segways, visitors glide through the village and down to the water. It's an immersive journey in the valley's rich history and stunning natural scenery.
