It was a beautiful cabin! Everything about it was great and organized (:
My family loved the proximity to Snow Summit only 5 minutes away. Plenty of room for our family with full kitchen & 1 1/2 bathrooms. We found the Lazy Bear Barn to be clean & very cozy.
We liked how close it was to resort and restaurants. Make sure you pay attention to the short check in and check out windows. You waste a whole day with those. Checking in had it's difficulties. The receptionist gave us wrong code for lockbox so we had to call headquarters to get right code. Cleanliness wasn't great. One of beds had chips crumbs. Downstairs bathroom didn't have soap. We were given one trash bag for whole weekend. Some of the pillows in master were stained. One of the single beds had a weird crusty white stain in it. Not enough blankets and pillows. King bed had one single thin sheet and only one blanket that wasn't big enough to cover the bed. Not great during the dead of winter/snowstorm. We didn't get any hot water so we had to call for maintenance. Worker came quickly and fixed, which was nice but by next day, the hot water was gone. This home isn't the best if you're on crutches or in a wheelchair. You have to go up a flight of stairs to get inside from the front of the house and in order to go to bedrooms. There is a back entrance to the house that someone unable to go up the stairs could use but in winter, not accessible with the snow. A little upsetting how much you pay for cleaning fees when you get disappointed like we did with cleanliness. Home is cute and was good enough for us but wish it lived up to our expectations and what we paid for.
