About

Considered the most popular golf course in all of Rocky Point! The Links at Las Palomas opened in 2006 on Sandy Beach in Puerto Peñasco, Mexico. It is a par 72, 18 hole course and is the only True Links course in Mexico. It was designed by well-known course designers Forrest Richards and Arthur Jack Snyder. The Links features 5 par 3’s, 8 par 4’s and 5 par 5’s.

The Course

This challenging course sits nestled amongst the sand dunes of the Sonoran Desert and the Sea of Cortez.  It has 6 water holes that are large and has several sand traps for your enjoyment. The water hazards run along the fairways and are in some case surrounding the greens. The views from the course are stunning with the Pinacate Biosphere, mountains, and the Sea of Cortez as the backdrop. The grass is a Sea Grass Paspalum, which is a lush dark green grass that is used for golf courses that are near the salt air. Additionally, the greens are a real challenge with the way they break or are done in tiers.

The Links is open to the public and open at 7 am. The course is open year round, but they're closed on Tuesdays. The rates will vary depending on the time of the year and credit cards are accepted.  If you are looking for a gift certificate, The Links has them for sale. Just ask the friendly staff in the pro shop.

Driving Range & Snack Bar

Before you start your round, you can practice at the driving range. This range consists of a chipping and putting green complete with practice balls. The pro shop has a snack bar, bar area and a great selection of golf apparel, clubs, bags, golf balls, gloves and shoes for sale.  Once on the course, you will have bar cart service and snacks.

Lessons & Rentals

Lessons are available by appointment only. If you don’t have your own clubs, no problem.  They rent both men and ladies clubs and are available for left or right handed golfers.

Tournaments

The Links hosts several golf tournaments every year, so if you are in charge of putting together a tournament, check them out. They can do everything from a pre-game breakfast, lunch on the course and an awards dinner after you are finished. They can also provide trophies or plaques that are done locally as well as other golf tournament prizes. No need to tote bulky items from the United States with you on your trip. You won't regret having the staff at The Links put together your golf outing as they are 100% professional and knowledgeable.

Discounts & Rules

In summer, they have several discounted packages.  They also offer a ladies day every week where you can put together your own foursome or met some other ladies who like to play. The only regulations they have are that collared shirts are required, no jeans, one set of golf clubs per player and you can not bring your own alcohol.
