About
Looking for a fun, free Saturday activity in Rocky Point? Head to the Mermaids Market — a lively outdoor market filled with fresh food, live music, handmade crafts, art, and great community vibes!
Founded over 10 years ago by Russ and Naomi Black, the market was created to support local artists and photographers while bringing the community together. Today, it features 25–30+ vendors on selected Saturdays from mid-October through the end of May (with a short break around Semana Santa).
The market is held on select Saturdays at Shrimp Park (corner of Benito Juárez and Blvd. Carrillo, formerly Freemont) from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Admission and parking are completely free — making it an easy and enjoyable way to spend a Saturday with family or friends.
