Family friendly and serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, a visit to Wrecked is one of the top things to do when in Penasco. The property itself is very spacious - with plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. Of course, the outdoor tables are popular as you are sitting right on the beach.
Live music at Wrecked deserves a special mention. Popular house band La Merca covers everything, and has been rocking’ the place for many years. Every weekend is a mini music festival, with performers from Arizona playing from early afternoon till closing time. Wrecked has a lazy beach-vibe during the day, and a mellow party under the stars feeling after ther sun sets. There is a reason you see their merchandise everywhere around town!
Wrecked is right on the beach past the Sandy Beach Resorts, on the way to Cholla Bay. Right next door is popular Mare Blu Ristorante, serving up great Italian food.
These make for great bar/finger food while you while away a sunny afternoon, sipping multiple cold ones. The chicken, fish, shrimp, or combi basket comes with lots of french fries too, and ranch dressing, BBQ sauce, or tartar sauce as well.
Steamed in foil, the seafood comes in a lightly spicy tomato broth accompanied wby rice and vegetables.
Sometimes you want breakfast, no matter what time it is. Especially if you are feeling a little off from the previous nights festivities. The all day special brings together 3 eggs, hash browns, bacon, sausage, beans, tortillas or toast. It can be served as a plate, an omelette, or a burrito!
