Set on a dune above Las Conchas Beach, Casa Frida offers a top notch home away from home experience. Commanding views of the Sea of Cortez combine with the homes distinctive touches of Mexican culture.
This four bedroom home is is accessed via a sheltered courtyard, with lots of small trees and a tiled fountain. Entering into the house brings you to the main room, with its soaring domed ceiling and panoramic ocean vistas.
Together below the bricked dome are the kitchen, living, and dining area. Crisp white walls are topped by the red bricked dome, constructed by Mexican Artisans. Three large windows open onto the main deck. The living room space has two leather sofas, along with a very comfortable recliner. Shelve built into the wall around the fireplace contains the TV. Six guests sit comfortably at the long dining table set against one of the beachside windows.
The kitchen expansive, enclosed by a large tiled kitchen island with five high backed stools. Wonderfully complete, you have all of the appliances, cookware and more that you might need.
To the left and right of the main room are three bedrooms, along with two bathrooms. The main bedroom presents a Queen bed, private access bathroom, a computer, traditional style fireplace, and a charming desk by the balcony side window. The attached bathroom is fully tiled, with its own bathtub, and separate shower stall with glass block.
Two more bedrooms are off to the right of the main room. One has a Queen bed, closet, and dining table. The Second has two double beds. In the hall is a bathroom with a shower stall with glass block.
The Patio offers stunning views of the beach below. There is a BBQ grill, a raised dining table, and two chaise lounge chairs. Head down a flight of stairs to the secluded and special studio found on this level. This complete living space has a futon sofa that folds down to a bed, along with a Murphy style bed that folds up against the wall. There is a complete bathroom and kitchen as well. You will find two kayaks with paddles to enjoy out on the water. Folding chairs are here as well. From this level, stairs lead down to the beach below.
