Looking for a place where you can kick back, fire up the grill, and spend your days enjoying the lake? Welcome to Porky's Lake Escape, a casual, budget-friendly Hill Country retreat that is located directly across the road from the Burnet County Park and its public boat ramp into beautiful Lake Buchanan.

Here, we are all about spending quality time with good company, fresh air, great BBQ, and easy access to outdoor adventures on land and water!

This is the full property which features three separate accommodations — a two-bedroom unit and two private studios — all rented to a single, private group. Gather, grill, and unwind.

After a day of fishing or boating, head back to relax in our outdoor gathering spaces. Fire up the large propane grill, enjoy the outdoor bar on the covered patio, or pull up a chair around the fire pit for an evening under the Texas sky.

The covered patio provides a comfortable spot for morning coffee, afternoon conversations, or getting everyone together to plan the day's adventures.

Simple comforts, everything you need. Each accommodation includes a television, coffee maker, bath towels, and everyday essentials such as soap, shampoo, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.... We focus on providing a practical, comfortable home base so you can spend less time worrying about the little things and more time enjoying your getaway.

While we are purposely just far enough away from civilization to help you decompress from daily life a bit, there is still plenty of great local options nearby to expand beyond the property.

* Vanishing Texas River Cruise - Docked not 10 minutes away, Captain Sean and crew will take your party on his nature tour of Lake Buchanan.

* Canyon of the Eagles Nature Park & Resort - 940 acre state park that also includes the Eagle Eye Observatory for Star Gazing

We do have the ability to book this property via just one of the units via separate listings. Those listings's monikers represent the three little pigs, Fifer (Studio 1), Fiddler (Studio 2), & Practical Pigs (2-Bedroom)...the monikers from Disney's version of this timeless folktale. We do not rent any configuration of this property to separate groups at one time. So, whether you're planning a fishing trip for two, a weekend with the family, or a group getaway where everyone wants a little privacy, Porky's Lake Escape has an optional, yet always private unit configuration for you.
