The main living area features a combination of efficient heating with a wood stove and radiant floors to keep you warm as you lay back and relax on the oversized couch. It also includes modern entertainment with a smart TV and streaming capabilities, making it a perfect retreat. The home features a modern kitchen with an attached glass-filled sunroom where you can sit down and enjoy breakfast. A staircase leads to the primary suite, featuring a queen bed and a private bathroom. The second bedroom is also located upstairs and features a queen-size bed. The third bedroom and bathroom are located on the main floor, featuring a queen-size bed and a full bathroom. After a day exploring the Mendocino Coast, unwind and relax, enjoy the Japanese gardens, or have dinner outdoors using the propane BBQ. The garage is available to guests and fits one vehicle.

Little River Zen is ideally located for exploring the Mendocino Coast: Van Damme State Beach: Approximately 0.3 miles away, this scenic beach is perfect for kayaking, exploring sea caves, beach combing, and watching the sunset. Van Damme State Park: Head inland from the beach to hike through the lush fern canyon or explore the unique Pygmy Forest, where mature cypress and pine trees stand only a few feet tall. Mendocino Village: Approximately 11 minutes by car, offering restaurants, galleries, shops, groceries, beaches, historic architecture, and bluff top walking paths. Russian Gulch State Park: Approximately 15 minutes by car featuring redwood forests, waterfall hikes, and dramatic coastal scenery. The park can be entered on foot free of charge. Point Cabrillo Light Station: About 17 minutes by car, offering a historic lighthouse and beautiful coastal trails. Caspar Beach & Frolic Cove: About 17 minutes by car for beach walks and coastal exploring. Fort Bragg: About 23 minutes by car, home to Noyo Harbor, the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens, the Skunk Train, beaches, coastal trails, shops, and restaurants.

Check-In Form: After booking, guests are asked to complete a short check-in form that includes our standard rental agreement and verification of guest and payment information. It only takes a few minutes and helps us prepare for your stay. Peace of Mind: For uninterrupted comfort, the home features a permanently installed standby generator with an automatic transfer switch, ensuring all amenities remain operational during any local power outages. Internet & Cell Service: Starlink high-speed Wi-Fi is available at the home. As with many areas along the Mendocino Coast, cellular service can be limited and occasional internet interruptions are possible. Depending on your carrier, Wi-Fi calling may be necessary while at the property. Pet Friendly: The home includes an enclosed fenced yard, making it especially convenient for guests traveling with dogs. Main Floor Bathroom: The downstairs shower/tub can only be used as a shower.
