Great Location, home was clean. The 2nd & 3rd day of our stay the showers wouldn't drain and toilets wouldn't flush. They sent a maintenance man 1st day, then plumber the next day who eventually fixed the problem. I read a similar review in the fall but it has been removed so I assumed the problem was fixed so I rented the house. 4 Days later (after several phone calls and messages), we received a response from mgt. They issued a small credit. Apparently having to leave the house both days to use public restrooms and unable to use the water/kitchen is a small inconvenience!
Nicely located on the intercostal.
Location and boat dock.
Gem of a house in a quiet canal front neighborhood. Clean, well updated and perfect after a day on the water, beach or out around town. Would definitely return and recommend to friends.
I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with our recent stay at the Marble Home. While the beautiful view initially drew us to book this property, our experience was unfortunately marred by several significant issues. On our first night, while taking a shower, we noticed a strange noise coming from the toilet. Initially, I didn’t think much of it, but as the days went on, it became clear that there were serious plumbing problems. The toilets consistently failed to flush properly, and the home had a persistent smell of toilet water and feces, which made our stay very unsanitary and uncomfortable. One day, while my son was in the shower, the water wouldn’t drain at all, resulting in a flooded bathroom that spilled into the hallways and other rooms. This was not only inconvenient but also quite distressing for my family. To make matters worse, while my husband and son were in the backyard, an unknown woman approached them, claiming they were trespassing. Her name was Sarah, and she demanded to see proof of our reservation. My husband had to show her our confirmation, which was both surprising and embarrassing. Afterward, I requested to speak with her directly, but my request was denied. Her demeanor was disrespectful, and I found her behavior toward my family to be completely unacceptable. It’s important for future guests to be aware of the potential for such discrimination. Overall, our experience at the Marble Home was one of the worst we’ve ever had. I am truly disappointed and will not consider staying here again in the future.
