Surrounding Areas • Yosemite National Park's south entrance, just a few minutes away • Wawona History Center and the Wawona 9 hole golf course, the only golf course in a national park • Bass Lake, less than 15 miles away, for boating, skiing, fishing, swimming, hiking, and bicycling • The Pines Village at Bass Lake, with restaurants, a general market, bars, shops, and a full service marina renting boats, jet skis, and kayaks • Oakhurst, with shopping, restaurants, bars, a movie cinema, and a live stage theater ★☆Locally Rooted, Elevated Hospitality☆★ We're Yosemite Elevated Stays, a locally rooted, family-owned team serving Yosemite and the surrounding Sierra Nevada. Guests have the entire cabin to themselves, including all bedrooms, both bathrooms, the great room, kitchen, dining area, and the forested decks with the gas grill. Entry is through a smart lock, so you can let yourself in at check-in. Parking is available at the home for up to three vehicles; boat and trailer parking are not permitted. Please park only at the home and do not block any neighboring homes. The driveway is narrow and steep with sharp turns, so take it slowly.

Fish Camp is a small mountain town tucked in the tall Sierra pines, just a few minutes from the southern entrance of Yosemite National Park. The Wawona History Center and Wawona's 9 hole golf course are close by, Bass Lake and its Pines Village are less than 15 miles away, and the town of Oakhurst offers shopping, dining, a movie cinema, and a live stage theater.

A car is the easiest way to explore Yosemite, Bass Lake, and Oakhurst from the cabin. Parking is available at the home for up to three vehicles, with no boat or trailer parking. The driveway is narrow and steep with sharp turns, and in winter it is wise to check road conditions and carry tire chains.

• Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and check-out is by 10:00 AM. • No pets allowed. • Maximum occupancy is 8 guests. • No smoking, parties, or events. • Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. • Minimum stay is 2 nights, and the primary guest must be at least 25 years old to book. • This home has a narrow and steep driveway with sharp turns for access. • Winter driving: mountain roads can see snow and ice in winter, so check road conditions before you travel and be prepared to carry tire chains. • Bass Lake reaches peak water levels in the summer months and is lowered by about 50 percent each fall and winter, so summer levels vary with each season's rain and snowfall. • Accidental damage protection applies to your reservation. • Additional fees and taxes may apply.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beatiful home, it's a short drive to the south enterence to Yosemite. The area is beautiful, and it's a short walk to the local general store. We really enjoyed our trip.

My family and I really enjoyed this property. It was a shame we didn't get the opportunity to spend more time in the cabin, since we were commuting to the park daily, and the drive was between 45-60 minutes each way (to the valley, not the south gate). The owners really went all out on thinking through everything, and were very responsive to any questions at all days/times.

8 minutes driving to the Yosemite park entrance and Mariposa Grove

Michelle H2026-05-30

This beautiful home is perfectly situated minutes from the park. The little general store nearby is very helpful for sundries and not as I thought it might be. The nearby Lodge and spa is a great place for a nice dinner. I'm so glad I picked this location. We are sad to leave. (The driveway would be treacherous in the snow, but luckily we didn't have to do that.)

So many positives: the house was spacious and the kitchen and bathrooms were very nice. Laundry is always a plus. Beds were comfortable and the outdoor space was beautiful and private. Location was close to Mariposa Grove and Yosemite south entrance. Communication with host was excellent. Negatives: the cabin was dimly lit--changing to a few brighter light bulbs would help a lot. The carpet and couches were a bit tired. Though the driveway was a narrow switchback, we found backing in was much easier to navigate in and out of. We had a great stay!
