Nestled among the trees inside the gates of Yosemite National Park, this secluded home offers a warm, character-filled retreat with one main bedroom and a full bath, plus a spacious second-story loft with its own half bath. The cabin features a comfortable living area with a wood-burning stove, leather sectional sofa, vintage photos, and winter memorabilia all surrounded by peaceful forest views in every direction. The fully equipped kitchen, complete with stainless steel appliances, is ready for preparing all your favorite meals. A large deck provides a quiet outdoor space for dining and relaxing, while the sunroom with floor-to-ceiling windows doubles as a serene lounge immersed in nature. Inside, you’ll find updated Starlink high-speed WiFi, a smart TV, Bluetooth speakers, and a selection of board games for cozy evenings in. Forest Glen is a private, inviting base camp perfect for exploring Yosemite by day and unwinding in the woods at night. Please Note: There are approximately 30 steps down from the parking area to access the property. During winter conditions with snow or ice, guests will need to park at the top of the driveway and walk down the sloped driveway to reach the steps. We recommend planning accordingly for seasonal access. THINGS TO KNOW Frequent power outages due to Pacific Gas & Electric’s forest zone safety protocols. We do not offer compensation for this, please be prepared. This home is not equipped with air-conditioning.

Forest Glenn Cabin was a fantastic base for exploring Yosemite. The location was peaceful, comfortable, and very convenient for getting into the park each day. The cabin had everything we needed, and we even had visits from deer and a bear passing by, which made the stay feel extra special. A great place to relax after exploring Yosemite — we’d happily stay here again.

We loved being in Yosemite west where we were already in the park and didn't have to wait to get through the lines into the park. We loved the cabin and it had everything we needed. We are a family of four and loved having the space to spread out. It was a beautiful property!

We had a fantastic time at Forest Glen. The location was perfect, close to the entrance of Yosemite West and a beautiful drive in to Yosemite Valley via Tunnel View every morning. Yosemite West is very close to the Glacier Point road if it is open. All facilities exceeded our expectations, the kitchen was well stocked and the bathrooms had everything we needed. The terrace was a real treat and we had visiting deer to really enhance the wilderness experience! We would highly recommend Forest Glen for a stay close to Yosemite.
