This property is within the Yosemite Park and it's a great location. It is an older building and you can tell that the unit is aged but everything was in working order.
The only positive was being close to dodge ridge ski area. Place is very rundown, many things don’t work. Or our only partially functional such as the stove and heater. The biggest disappointment was that the lock to get into the unit was completely nonfunctional when we arrived, so we were stuck, waiting for over an hour before we could gain access to the unit, in the middle of the night in the winter in the cold. We ended up being on hold for an hour before we could speak to a human at Vacasa to get a code to access a physical key to get in.
Condo was super clean so as the building. Wifi is terrible but you have Yosemite right at your backyard so go out and enjoy.
Location and the building was nice we lost power for an hour or so but other wise very nice
I was hesitant to book this condo because of all the bad reviews but we had a good stay. If you keep your expectations low, you'll be very pleasantly suprised. It is a 30 minute drive to the valley, which is the key feature. The condo is definitely old but it's mostly updated and definitely workable. Yes, the toilet is loud when it flushes and the bathroom is small and outdated; but it's not a big deal because you're not spending much time there. The queen bed is not great, but not the worst I've slept in - just a little bouncy. The pull out bed is a typical uncomfortable pull out, but our kid didn't mind. You can hear noise from people moving throughout the building, but put in some earplugs. The wifi was weak, but you're in a remote park. If those are the the concerns you had based off of other reviews, they aren't a big deal. The condo gives you a great base camp to explore the park.
