Overview

Harris Lakeview Cabin is a classic log cabin set in the pines above Bass Lake, with lake views from the living room and a deck that wraps around three sides of the home. Inside, log and wood paneled walls, a wood burning stove, and warm lamplight give the cabin the feel of a true Sierra retreat. The main level holds the living room, kitchen, and dining area, with a stairway leading up to the bedrooms and the open loft. Outside, the deck is where most of the day happens, with a grill, a picnic table, and seating set among the trees. Sleeping Arrangements Total occupancy: 7 guests Total beds: 4 Bedroom 1 has a queen bed. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed. The open upstairs loft has a queen bed and a twin bed. Please note these two beds are located in the loft, which is an open sleeping area rather than a separate bedroom. Bathrooms The cabin has two full bathrooms and a half bathroom. Bath towels, hand towels, bed linens, hand soap, shampoo, and toilet paper are provided for your stay, along with a hair dryer. Living Areas The living room is built around a wood burning stove, with log walls, a beamed ceiling, ceiling fans, and windows that look out toward the lake. Deep leather seating and a large TV make it an easy place to land after a day on the water. Kitchen and Dining The full kitchen is stocked for real cooking, with an oven and stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, blender, and toaster, plus extras like a Crockpot, roasting pan, and waffle iron. The dining table sits beside windows that bring in the morning light, making it a natural gathering spot for breakfast before a day out. Outdoor Space The deck wraps around three sides of the cabin and looks out through the pines toward the water. There is a propane grill, a picnic table with benches, and chairs set out for slow mornings with coffee and long evenings under the trees. Downstairs Den and Ping-Pong A separate downstairs level holds a game room with a Ping-Pong table, a bathroom, and the laundry room. Please note this space is not accessible from inside the main cabin. It is entered from outside, under the deck, using the code provided with your arrival instructions. Security Cameras For the safety and security of the home, exterior security cameras are located above the kitchen door, above the garage, and above the living room door. These cameras monitor outdoor areas only. There are NO cameras inside the home. Surrounding Areas Bass Lake is a year round destination for boating, waterskiing, fishing, hiking, and cycling. The Pines Village at the lake has restaurants, a general market, bars, shops, and a full service marina with rental boats, jet skis, and kayaks. Oakhurst is about seven miles away with shops, restaurants, a cinema, and a live stage theater of its own. Chukchansi Casino in Coarsegold is 12 miles away, and the southern entrance to Yosemite National Park is only about 15 miles from the cabin. Please note the cabin has lake views but is not lakefront, and there is no private dock or boat slip. Bass Lake reaches peak water levels in the summer and is drawn down by roughly 50 percent through the fall and winter each year, so summer levels vary with seasonal rain and snowfall.

Guests will have full access to the main cabin, the wrap around deck, and the separate downstairs level with the game room, bathroom, and laundry. Self check-in is available through a keyless smart lock on the front door. Your entry code is sent in your check-in email before arrival, and the door locks automatically behind you. Please note the downstairs game room, laundry room, and bathroom are not connected to the main cabin. They are reached from outside, under the deck, using the code provided with your arrival instructions. Parking is available at the home for up to five vehicles. Boats and trailers are not permitted. Please park only at the home and do not block neighboring driveways. In winter, mountain roads can be snowy or icy and chains may be required on some routes. Cell service in the area can be spotty, so we recommend downloading your directions before you head up.

My family and I were blown away with this home! It had all the amenities we were wanting and more! The cabin feel, the view of the lake and the walking distance to the shopping center are unmatched! We would definitely stay here again.

I will start by saying my wife and I are very picky about where we choose to vacation, having said that, this cabin was absolutely wonderful! The view from the deck is stunning, and we were particularly impressed with how the homeowners have manicured the trees to allow for a picturesque view of Bass Lake. The cabin has everything you need, and is very well-maintained. We also loved the fact that it was a very short walking distance to the Pines Resort, and all of the cute little shops and eateries. They had an amazing pizzeria there as well. Our family loves to go out on a pontoon boat, and the marina is only a short distance from the cabin. We also thought that it was very thoughtful that the owners of the cabin had a complete welcome notebook with instructions and things to do all around Bass Lake. Additionally, the realty management group, Vacasa, we’re very supportive and quick to answer any questions that we had. We would highly recommend staying at this cabin.

Loved the views and closeness to The Pines Resort - for a wedding we attended. We are used to a kitchen better stocked with items such as coffee, sugar, salt, pepper; and there was limited serving ware for meals we cooked in. Views were better than we expected. A/C worked extremely well.
