Overview

Step inside and the cabin wraps around you in knotty pine and exposed beams. A brick fireplace with a wood stove anchors the living room, where sofas gather close for movie nights and long conversations. Outside, mornings start with coffee on a deck built around a mature tree, and evenings end under string lights with the grill going and birds, squirrels and the occasional raccoon wandering through the pines. Willow Cove sits a short walk from the Pines Village area, and Yosemite's south entrance is less than 15 miles from Bass Lake. Key Features • Sleeps 8 guests • 2 bedrooms | 1.5 bathrooms • Two king bedrooms plus an attic loft with four twin beds • Brick fireplace with wood stove under a beamed pine ceiling • Deck built around a mature tree, with gas grill and string lights • Pergola-shaded deck with an outdoor dining table • Balcony with a treetop outlook over the pines • Eat-in kitchen with a table for six • 32-inch flat-screen TV with cable and DVD player • Free WiFi and a laptop-friendly workspace • Smart lock entry and parking for 4 vehicles • Willow Cove location, a short walk to Pines Village and under 15 miles from Yosemite's south entrance Sleeping Arrangements Total occupancy: 8 guests Total beds: 6 Two private king bedrooms give the adults their own retreats, while the attic loft turns into a slumber party space for kids, teens or friends, making this layout a natural fit for families and small groups. One king bedroom feels like a treehouse suite, with a vaulted pine ceiling, exposed beams, matching nightstands with lamps and a sliding glass door that opens straight onto the deck. It is the spot for a couple who wants morning coffee just steps from bed. The second king bedroom sits just across the hall from the full bathroom, dressed in pine paneling and a crisp black and white quilt. It suits parents or a second couple who want easy bathroom access. The attic loft is a favorite with younger guests, with four twin beds in southwestern patterned bedspreads under a peaked A-frame pine ceiling. Exposed beams, wall sconces and a half wall divider give it a cozy hideaway feel. Bathrooms The full bathroom features a glass-enclosed walk-in shower and a tiled vanity framed by warm pine paneling. A compact half bathroom with a slanted wood ceiling, long mirror and pine walls adds a second option so mornings move a little faster. Living Areas The living room is the heart of the cabin, with exposed wood beams, knotty pine walls, built-in bookshelves and a brick fireplace with a wood stove. Two sofas and an armchair face the hearth, a row of curtained windows brings in the daylight, and the flat-screen TV with cable and a DVD player covers movie night. Free WiFi and a laptop-friendly workspace keep you connected when you need to be. Kitchen & Dining The pine-paneled kitchen comes with white appliances, an electric range and oven, microwave, double sink, toaster and coffee maker, with antler decor adding mountain character. Meals happen at the table for six beside a sliding glass door to the deck, in an open space that flows right into the living room so the cook is never left out. Decks & Balcony The main deck is built around the trunk of a mature tree, with a private gas grill, string lights and the cabin's entry doors close at hand. From the wooden balcony, the view stretches over rooftops into the pines, with sunlight breaking through the branches. Easy to find, lots of room. Great location to walk to restaurants, store and the lake. Would definitely recommend it.

An adorable little cabin! It had all the perfect amenities for our short little get away. I wish we could have stayed longer! Already thinking of when we can come back!!

We had a wonderful stay at our Vacasa vacation rental near Bass Lake! The home was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable family getaway. The kitchen had all the essentials, the beds were cozy, and the peaceful surroundings made it easy to relax. The location was perfect—just a short drive to Bass Lake and close to Yosemite, making it convenient for both lake activities and sightseeing. Check-in was simple, and the property was exactly as described. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and created many great family memories. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this vacation rental to anyone visiting the Bass Lake area!

Pros: - very well-stocked kitchen (plates, bowls, utensils, knives, cups, mugs, pots, pans, baking dishes, muffin pans, tongs, spatulas, etc, plus fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, stove, oven) - spacious and comfortable common areas - fast, reliable internet (pro-tip: the password is on the router, if you're like me and forgot to write it down before arriving and then had no service at the cabin to look up the password on the reservation page) - MANY beds - clean - good shower Cons: - all three (weekday) mornings that we were there, neighbors started using leaf blowers and/or power tools shortly before 8am - the upstairs gets hot easily (fans are provided, but since the nights still cooled down a lot when we were there in mid-June, we didn't use them) - most of the mosquito screens have holes in them

The cabin was closed to the lake.

We are reasonable people and completely understand that hosts are running a business and need to make money. However, we were incredibly disappointed by the lack of flexibility and basic empathy from this host. We experienced an unexpected family emergency and had to cancel our trip. We contacted the host on May 20th for a May 29th check-in—giving them 9 days' notice—hoping to get a partial refund, a reasonable accommodation, or the ability to reschedule for a later date. Instead, we were met with a strict policy: we were only allowed to move our dates within a narrow 7-day window of our original reservation. Because the house was already fully booked the weekend before and the week after our dates, the only literal option available to us was moving the check-in two days ahead. Obviously, that does not help when you are dealing with an ongoing family emergency. We were completely unable to stay and the hosts refused any meaningful compromise. Beware if you rent this house—if life unexpectedly throws you a curveball, do not expect any reasonable accommodations or flexibility here
