Both of the main bedrooms upstairs have large glass doors that open onto decks. Bedroom 1 is the bunk room every kid hopes for, with two wooden bunk beds holding four double beds made up in crisp white linens, a TV on the dresser, and hardwood floors. It suits a crew of kids, teens, or friends who want to bunk together. Bedroom 2 features a king bed on a rustic wood frame with matching nightstands, a ceiling fan, a flat screen TV, and French doors that open the room to fresh mountain air. It makes a relaxing retreat for a couple. Bedroom 3 offers a queen bed on a rustic wood frame beneath a sloped ceiling with a ceiling fan, a cozy hideaway for a second couple or additional guests. Bathrooms Three full bathrooms and a half bathroom mean fewer morning lineups. Right beside the bunk room, a double vanity with glass vessel sinks, a dark granite countertop, and a large mirror lets the kids get ready side by side. Another bath pairs a white pedestal sink and framed mirror with a tiled shower and a frosted window, while a third offers a granite vanity with glass vessel sinks and a tub and shower combo for soaking off a day on the lake. Fresh towels are ready when you arrive. Living Areas The living room is the heart of the cabin, with a vaulted knotty pine ceiling, dark exposed beams, and a wood stove set on a river rock hearth. Sink into the sofa, the armchair, or the log rocking chair to catch a game on the large smart TV, and slide open the glass door to the patio when the afternoon warms up. Hardwood floors and ceiling fans complete the easygoing mountain feel. Kitchen & Dining Cherry wood cabinets and granite countertops frame a kitchen built for cooking for a crowd, with a stainless gas range, oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, blender, and toaster, plus wine glasses for toasting the day. The kitchen opens to a dining area where a wooden table seats six beneath a ceiling fan, so the cook never misses the conversation. Deck & Outdoor Living The large elevated back deck, lined with lantern posts and backed by tall pines and forested hills, is where long summer evenings happen. Fire up the BBQ grill, settle into the outdoor seating, and let the kids shoot hoops at the basketball hoop or run around the backyard. A covered front porch and patio add even more room to relax outside, and the garage serves as a game room for extra fun. The location of this home if you have a large group can't get any better. We only had 5 people, however The lay out of the home is nice. You can't get any closer to the Pines Resort. We were there for a wedding. Perfect spot!
I would give it a perfect score except that twice we had to call customer service to reset the passcode on the front door. But they did answer the phone and responded quickly. It was just frustrating that we had to call twice. Otherwise, it was all great, clean, well stocked and comfortable.
I reserved this beautiful home the weekend I ran my first half marathon. I have only ever stayed in hotels or our motorhome while traveling so renting a home was a first for me as well. The entire experience from booking to check out was seamless. That coupled with a beautiful home, spectacular views of the lake and even a Mexican restaurant next store made my weekend amazing!

We needed a little getaway and this home was great! Definitely will be staying again.
