This comfortable condo features air conditioning, an EV charging station, a 50-inch TV for DVD viewing, and a fully equipped kitchen. Fire up the barbecue for a delicious meal, then relax in the spacious living area after a fun-filled day exploring the valley floor. This property is located on the western boundary of Yosemite National Park, so you can hike directly into the park from the front door. It's situated one mile south of the Chinquapin intersection of Wawona Road and Glacier Point Road, at an altitude of 5,100-6,300 feet. Tunnel View is a 15-minute drive from the house, and there is a hiking trail 30 feet away from the driveway. For larger groups, this condo can be rented together with Oso Lodge upstairs. Things to Know During the winter months (affected months vary upon on the weather), all patio items are stored away. The grill will also not be available during this time. The entrance to this rental is located down the stairs to the left of the home. The WiFi can be spotty due to the mountain location, and guests may experience occasional outages or slower speeds. Guests should not rely on the internet service for streaming services or working from home. This home is located inside the Yosemite National Park gates, and staying here provides you with access to Yosemite National Park (no additional reservation needed!). However, guests will still need to pay to enter the gates. Frequent power outages we do not offer compensation for this, please be prepared

This is a nice, well finished unit in a great location. However the furniture could definitely use an upgrade (couch and bed in particular). If these were improved this would be a great place.

I’m very impressed with this home with everything necessities provided. The beautiful full kitchen with cook wear, utensils and dinner wears all ready for you inside the cupboard. I stopped at Von’s grocery store at Oakhurst before heading in with three days worth of groceries. If you planned on cooking make sure you have everything you need (Don’t for get any spices, cooking oil or butter). We saw a deer right outside roaming. The neighborhood is nice, quiet and very peaceful. I issues with WiFi connection. I had a wonderful stay here with my son. The house is only 7 miles away from the Tunnel View and 25-30 mins drive to get to the main Yosemite Valley, El Capitan and half dome. The drive was scenic on HWY 41. Overall I am very happy that I picked this place and will definitely be back in the future.

Loved coming back here after a long day of hiking. Great location! Got a tunnel view every sunrise and sunset when driving back and forth to the valley.

We loved our stay at Oso Lodge (Unit B) and highly recommend it. It was a convenient location wrt to Yosemite Valley, clean, and spacious and had a kitchen and washer/dryer. (Note that you will want to stop for groceries or food on your way to the unit because there isn't anything in the Yosemite West area. We stopped at one of the grocery stores in Oakhurst on our way up.) Re the unit, it would have been nice to have some sort of pan for the oven (for frozen pizza or other prepared foods), a night light for the bathroom, and a few more pillow case liners. But these are small things that were hardly an inconvenience. The only annoying thing was when I asked Vacasa to confirm that the unit had W/D before we left, and the customer service rep said 'no.' I asked her to double check because I remembered the listing saying that it had one. After she said 'no again, we decided to skip a stop the previous day to go to a laundromat. I was happy that the unit ended up having a W/D but annoyed that we wasted part of our vacation the day before.
