Heider Cabin

This is a big beautiful home with a lot of room and living space. Unfortunately it was not well cleaned before our arrival. It also can’t quite accommodate as high a number as the listing suggests. While we only had about 10 of the 21 people the listing says there is room for, the kitchen is on the smaller side and not large enough for a few people to be helping with meals. Although we didn’t use the sofa beds, there didn’t seem to be enough bedding for all of them. Some of the furniture is worn, including a broken bed foundation and older outdoor gas grills. The house is overall nice and big. Great views of the lake. But given the cleaning issues prior to arrival I wouldn’t stay here again.

Some of the furniture and beds could be more comfortable and higher quality. Biggest dislike if you had to take all garbage down the mountain. No outside dumpster. That alone would make me not rent this property again. The picture make it seem more grand than it really is. Don’t get me wrong, it was a nice property, but high priced cs value. The property agency is great to work with.

We have stayed in the Bear Lake area at rental cabins for 20 years. This was the cleanest and most accommodating one we have ever rented. Lots of room and we really appreciated the double water heaters as we came off the lake and the whole family was looking for a hot shower!

The view was fantastic!

Great home for several guests to gather comfortably. Kitchen pretty well stocked and all rooms were great. Awesome views and only minutes from lake and other amenities!
