Continental #105 - Gulf-Front Condo, Beach Access

Very clean peaceful spot, had a great time

Clean, cozy condo, steps away from the beach. Best part was waking up and walking out to the balcony to listen to the waves at sunrise.

Location and beach view is nice! Quiet during our stay. Great communication with host & staff. Will stay again

The stay started terribly. 14.5 hour drive and we couldn’t get in. After 2 calls to the help line phone number someone gave us a code to open a lockbox with a door knob key that didn’t work. On the 3rd call a worker showed up with a master key to let us in. I wish we would’ve timed it but it was at least an hour or more. Later we leaned the combination lock was broken. Maintenance had to return to change the door knob (for us to have keys). Maintence also brought us dish soap, laundry soap, toilet tissue extra towels and dish towels which we assumed would be there. Any unit we’ve ever stayed in would at least provide the bare minimum. That was a disappointment but we dealt with it. Owners are different. Now, to get to the ridiculous size of the toilet. The toilet was 14” off the ground. We were appalled at its kindergarten size. We are in our 70’s. Difficult to use doesn’t cover the problem it caused. Toilets are not expensive. What an inconvenience! We told everyone about it and asked every resident we talked to about what was in their unit. Frankly, that alone overshadowed the dim lightbulbs, the nasty stained rug (photo attached if I can attach one), the irregular electric surges which we reported) and the aggravating entry issues.
