Recently renovated and complete with a shared pool and hot tub, this condo has the vibrant color and oceanfront location you need to experience spectacular Galveston! Part of the Pointe West Resort, this condo features easy access to some of the most gorgeous beaches on the west side of Galveston Island. Admire the soft sands from your balcony, or take your dog (welcome for a small nightly fee) for a walk across from the dunes. When you're not enjoying the nearby sandy beach, drive east to Galveston to explore the city's shopping, dining, and historic Seawall. Back at the condo, share photos of your adventures with the free WiFi, or soak in the shared pool and hot tub. The living room and primary bedroom feature TVs, making it easy to unwind with your favorite show or a good movie. When you're ready for dinner, use the kitchen's and appliances to whip up a delicious meal, or unwind outside in the grilling and picnicking area. Make the most of your next Gulf getaway. Treat your family and friends to Galveston and save your dates today! THINGS TO KNOW Beach Club bands will be $25 per guest over three years old to access all amenities. This fee is charged by the POA of Pointe West and is payable at the Beach Club. Due to local rules and regulations, there are certain restrictions around the pool occupancy and times of use. No reservations are required, but occupancy is limited to a first come, first serve basis up to 50% occupancy. Specific information will be provided after you book. The on-site restaurant/cafe is no longer available. This home's elevators are not consistently reliable.

Normally I dont always pay attention to others reviews since sometimes people have different expectations. however, most reviews for this unit were accurate. we have stayed at other places at pointe west and enjoyed it, this unit has been the worst put of all of them and we won't be back. The only good thing is the location near the main pool and beach access. Otherwise, I would rent a different unit. This unit was very outdated and dirty (floors, damp couches, etc). There were roaches, broken blinds, broken toilet paper holder in bathroom, broken light under microwave, bathroom breaker kept tripping when fan was turned on, and bathroom shower leaked when trying to take a bath for my kids.

The house was wonderful and would stay again, however the power was out for half of our trip and we could not get a response from maintenance. The room got so hot that we almost just left to find somewhere else to stay. It would have been nice for a resort to have a backup generator in case of a power outage. Kinda frustrating to pay for a vacation and just have to suffer through it without getting any response from maintenance.

Condo was throughly clean upon arrival, though I could tell my unit hadn't been touched in some time. Dust was starting to build on counter tops and other common areas. The washer did its job but the dryer had to run for 2 cycles to dry even a small load. Our thermostat went out and maintenence contacted me immediately which was amazing. The balcony doors stuck really bad so you needed to push really hard to open the doors. Very easy check in instructions and the condo was stocked with towels and extra kitchenware. Overall I was pleased with my experience and I would use Vacasa again
