Beachside Escape - Gulf-Front Condo with Pool

The bunk beds aren’t for small children. There were no linens for the pullout sofa bed, which still had plastic on it, fine, but it was dirty under the plastic. The smoke detector started chirping at 9pm, no one on property could help us, we reached out to vacas and someone came, but it was 2 hours later. In the meantime my husband went and bought a new battery and replaced it. I understand no one had control over when the battery would decide to go dead, but it was very inconvenient, especially when you have kiddo's AND the front office can’t help you. The water pressure, for the shower, was really low. Not something you want when you’ve been at the beach all day. On a positive side, we were able to check-in in early and AC worked great!

There were no sheets for the pull out couch. We asked the lobby for sheets and they told us they couldn’t help us and that we had to go through the unit’s owner. We tried contacting the owner but ran around in circles trying to contact Vacasa. The bottle of body wash in the shower was empty. The conditioner was also empty but we found a new bottle of conditioner under the sink. Other than those two issues, everything was fine

Highly recommend walking distance to beach. Clean room.

I didn't spend a lot of time inside the apartment, but it was pretty nice. The sleeper sofa could be updated.

It was a good price and everyone was nice, check in was quick, my text msgs were answered quickly, free early check in was great! having 2 pools is nice if one is too full or ppl being obnoxious, the couch bed mattress could be replaced, bring a fan for the front room bc the AC works really good but the balcony is close to the couch so it can be a bit warm in there. Everything you need in the kitchen (dishes) for the at home feeling. The water gets nice and hot for showers. The location is great for walking to the beach, a few resteraunts, surf shop and a bike rental place. My group of 6 fit comfortably and will stay again!

I booked this stay expecting a relaxing and enjoyable experience, especially for my birthday. Unfortunately, it was anything but. From the moment we walked in, we were met with immediate disappointment. There were visible hairs on the bed, and the overall cleanliness of the room was far below standard. The entire space was very outdated and had a strong odor of mildew and mold that lingered throughout our stay. The crown molding in the kitchen was covered in mold, and there was visible mold on the ceiling as well—something that poses a serious health risk. Breathing that in for even one night left me feeling unwell, and now I’m experiencing swelling in my mouth and other symptoms that I believe are related to the exposure. The bathroom had no ventilation, which only worsened the moldy smell. The sink didn’t drain properly, and the toilet barely had any water pressure. On top of that, when taking a shower, water leaked into the kitchen from behind the microwave—an electrical and safety hazard that shouldn’t be ignored. Looking at the reviews from 2025, I assumed the issues from 2022 and 2023 had been addressed. Unfortunately, they haven’t. Many of the exact same complaints from years ago still apply now, and it’s unacceptable that nothing seems to have been done to correct them. The only redeeming quality is the location. It’s close to the beach and within walking distance of several restaurants. However, that convenience does not make up for the lack of cleanliness, safety, or hospitality. When we reached out to the staff for assistance, they were unhelpful and dismissive—often responding with, “That’s not my job.” Overall, this stay was a major letdown. For the price I paid and the occasion I was celebrating, I expected far better. I sincerely believe some form of compensation is warranted, especially given the potential health risks and poor service.
