The Treehouse - Steps to the Beach & Sunny Deck

House was nice. Nothing to complain about house wise. They had beach chairs and an umbrella to use which was cool. If you are going to stay anywhere near the beach at Galveston make sure you have mosquito spray as the shady areas and at night they get really bad. Would definitely stay at this house again.

Upon arrival there were no trash bags, salsa bowl that was left on the counter had not been properly cleaned. Floors looked like they had been vacuumed but not mopped as there was a lot of sand/debri. Not enough towels to even accommodate the max amount of people that can stay at the house. Coffee pot had used filter and burnt coffee left in the pot. Also don’t get your hopes up plan to spend time outdoors drinking coffee on the patio because the mosquitos were HORRIBLE. Even with bug spray, my three year old was outside for under two mins before we saw 10 mosquitos all over her body. In addition, my family and I had two full days where there was no hot water for showers, sink/dish washing or laundry. While adults may be able to handle that, it was a nightmare for two kids under the age of 5. And the “cherry on top” was the fact that I woke up and saw a cockroach on the fold out couch where my children were sleeping. Guest services offered a whopping $25 compensation per day for lack of hot water. Unacceptable!

This was my second time to stay here. My husband and I love this house and will stay again. Very comfortable and close to the beach. Definitely recommend.

Me, my husband, and our toddler stayed here for a weekend in Galveston! This house was great! They had everything and it was very evident that they thought through what guests might need. It looks newly renovated, was very clean, and a good space for us 3. There were 2 smart tvs, good wifi, and maybe a 2 min walk to the beach! The only thing to note- there is a wall between the living room and the bedroom, but it doesn't go to the ceiling. Didnt affect us at all, but just if you need privacy between the two rooms. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful weekend stay at this house! The house and decor is so cute and really felt cozy. I like that you are removed enough from the traffic/crowds near the seawall, but it's still an easy drive in to restaurants and everything else! The house is just a couple minute walk to the beach and this area of the beach is not a drive on section which I liked a lot. The house itself was beautiful! Everything was super clean at check in as well. The bathtub was such a treat as well. The AC worked very well, which is definitely important in this Texas heat. It was just my husband and me for this trip, but we already have talked about booking another weekend soon to bring our son back. We stayed in several other rentals through different companies in Galveston this summer and this one was by far the best. We will be back!
