Sandcastle Retreat - Heart of Galveston, Dogs OK

The home was amazingly beutiful. My family was very comfortable.

The house was cleaned, organized, easy to find, closed to beach, hospital, ferry and cruise ports, and downtown. Bedrooms were large enough to accommodate big families and AC ran well. I would stay again whenever my family back to Galveston.

The process of check in and out was easy and simple. Home was clean and spacious. The furniture was a bit minimalistic and looked very unsteady from the pictures and was one of the turn off for me but my husband rented it anyway. Also, they need to get someone out to exterminate there were ants on the kitchen counter. We couldnt leave things on the counter or it would be surrounded by ants.We had to purchase bowls and a can opener and a basic flat oven pan for baking biscuts because none was in the home. No paper towels or extra bathroom tissue was found so we had to purchase. Especially bowls thats basic needs especially with kids, had to purchase bowels to eat out of, there was 3 and 8 people in the home. So, we ended up spending extra money on basics items that you would think would already be there. The dishwasher was broken, there are only 2 TVs in the home that has 4 bedrooms another turn off for me. Parking is curbside and only allowed 2 parking spaces and potentially 1 in the backyard on the grass.

Great place to stay very nice and clean

The house had nice big rooms and I loved that every bedroom had its own bathroom.

This house was wonderful. My family and I loved it. There was plenty of room for everyone. The house was very clean.
