We stay at seascape at least once a year for the last 26 years.We really liked this room. It was clean and our group of 7 had plenty hot room! We loved the decor!Our only issue was one of the tubs drained slow and backed up and the lock to get into the room was more difficult than it needs to be. The way the door locks is not like any other I have seen and we just had to leave the room unlocked while we were out or else we would not be able to get back in. Our final problem is not with this room specifically but with the property. The elevator went down for majority of the day our last day there. I wish this was an isolated problem but we have experienced this more than a couple of times, once it was down for 3 days, and it’s happened in BOTH buildings. It was not a big issue for us as we were all capable of carrying our stuff up and down the flights of stairs however there was an elderly lady in a beach wheelchair who we met because she was STRANDED down on the beach with no way to get up to her room without the elevator!!! She was there for hours. Thankfully it was repaired before we had to load our car up but others weren’t as lucky and had no other option but to carry their luggage, coolers etc down flights of stairs. We knowingly give up some accommodations because we love the access to the beach at seascape but we will take a serious look at other locations moving forward. Hopefully they can put some thought into updating some of the property!
