Beach to Bay Getaway

Was the right size for our small family, and served our needs during our trip. Smelled and looked very clean when we arrived and had very nice air conditioning for all rooms. We did notice several stray ants in almost all rooms of the house and had a few appear in the beds while we were sleeping.

It was perfect for our family of 4!

We didn't have directions on how to run the heat and air and that would have been helpful. It was a very windy week so we didn't use the outside space but we enjoyed the inside space.

The house was clean, and nice especially for the price point. (No broom or cleaning supplies provided). My issue was the rude neighbor(s), if you want a peaceful stay this wouldn’t be my recommendation. I reached out with my issue, and got no direct response or apology from the owner of the property. The neighbor called us names, and spewed profanity at us. The reasoning was because we refused to move our vehicle after she demanded us to, because they were painting and didn’t want to get paint on our vehicle which would have been fine (and appreciated) but, we paid for the home and the parking spot and why would we if we were being yelled and cussed at. There was never an option to park in a designated area, but somewhere we would have 1.) been towed from and 2.) Could not transport our luggage and other items to from a decent spot. She simply said to “park down the street, or just in front of a random house” She never asked politely, only demanded it. As I stated, I reached out and received nothing in return not even a phone call.

Our stay was unfortunately very disappointing due to multiple issues that significantly impacted our comfort. The home did not appear to be properly cleaned prior to our arrival. The floors were extremely dirty — our feet turned black from walking barefoot inside. We found a spider in the bed, a dead roach under the bed, a visibly dirty hand towel, and there was dog feces throughout the yard, making the outdoor space unusable. Most concerning was that the AC did not work during our entire stay. Even after adjusting the settings, no cool air came through the vents. The house remained extremely hot, making it very difficult to sleep. Communication from the management team has also been extremely poor. It took multiple attempts to receive responses, and we are still waiting for a meaningful resolution. We chose this property expecting a clean, comfortable stay, and unfortunately it did not meet basic standards. I would be happy to update this review if the situation is addressed and someone reaches out to resolve the issues. I hope this feedback helps future guests make informed decisions and encourages improvements for future stays.
