My family and I have stayed at 30 properties on Galveston island as we have been doing this with kids and grandkids for 30 years This property : Good - price point , proximity to beach , view of ocean , property was clean when we arrived. Bad- VERY bad year for mosquitoes - suggest getting grounds sprayed. Cockroaches started appearing - 5 total . Freezer would not keep our ice cream , WiFi unplugged - took a while to get that up and running , kitchen sink disposal not working correctly - sink backed up. Fixed myself

The house itself was great and inside amenities were very nice. The lock situation concerned us and the lack of response was disappointing. No wash cloths so bring your own. Recommend adding some maintenance staff that can repair things locally.
