You’ll also love the sparkling full kitchen, with stainless steel appliances and ample counter space. The primary suite boasts a private Gulf-view balcony, and all bedrooms include a TV! Extra perks include complimentary WiFi and a private washer/dryer. You'll find plenty to do at Pointe West’s expansive beachfront property, highlighted by a fitness center and various resort pools. Paved paths surrounding the property are great for jogging and biking. The Beach Clubhouse is just steps away. Check out Galveston's Strand Historic District, Moody Gardens, or Schlitterbahn Waterpark for a memorable day trip. THINGS TO KNOW Starting September 5, 2023, Pointe West Resort will be conducting maintenance on the elevators. During this period, certain elevators will be unavailable for a few weeks. Beach Club bands will be $25 per guest over three years old to access all amenities. This fee is charged by the POA of Pointe West and is payable at the Beach Club. Due to local rules and regulations, there are certain restrictions around the pool occupancy and times of use. No reservations are required, but occupancy is limited to a first come, first serve basis up to 50% occupancy. Specific information will be provided after you book. The on-site restaurant/cafe is no longer available. This home's elevators are not consistently reliable. Bike and cabana rentals are available. Streaming is available using your own accounts.

We booked thru VRBO, but somehow the reservation went thru Vacasa. When we went to check in to get access to the amenities (pools and restaurant/bar), the office didn’t have our reservation because it hadn’t been pushed thru by Vacasa. It took calling the local rep (which happened to be off that day) to get this done. The office said this is a common occurrence with Vacasa. Check in wasn’t until 4 and the office closes at 6 so didn’t leave much time to get brackets to use the pool or restaurant. It would be nice if the bracelets could be left in the unit instead of having to arrive in the 2 hour window to be able to use amenities the 1st night. Also on the 1st night, we realized the master bath had a toilet issue. We reported it and it took calling back two more times to get it resolved 2 days later. Then, in the secondary bathroom and bedroom, we heard some scratching in the walls….on our last morning, there was a hole in the wall of the bathroom and a hole in the ceiling of the bedroom from whatever is in the walls. This was reported on our way out so not sure how this will be fixed. This particular unit was not stocked well in the kitchen. We love the main pool, hot tub, and restaurant at this beach club but were disappointed with service we received from VRBO/Vacasa.

The condo was lovely and we especially enjoyed the easy access to the beach, pool and other amenities - as well as the beautiful views from the main room and terrace. On top of everything else, the communication by Vacasa was outstanding. Loved this area and would definitely stay there again!

We had a great family getaway in this condo which was located very near the beach club and just a short walk from the beach. The balcony is very large with nice furniture and a great view of the beach.
