This home was super cute! It was close to everything in Fulton and Rockport, but still quiet! The home was clean and had everything we needed. My kids loved that they had beach toys that they could use!

The moment we got there, we found several roaches both dead and alive. A couple hours later we realized the refrigerator was leaking. We called Vacasa to report the bugs and fridge and they said they’d put in a ticket and have someone contact me. No one contacted me until the next day around lunchtime, and she said that “the fridge doesn’t leak in the winter, it’s only when people are staying here” so they knew it was leaking. We spent the entire trip cleaning water off the floor with towels to prevent our belongings getting damaged. They did not come out to remedy the refrigerator. They said instead that the owner would be replacing the fridge this weekend (after we leave) which doesn’t help us. As for the roaches she said that the house is treated by a pest control service and she would reach out to “see when the last service was”. I never heard from her again. Then that afternoon I walked onto the patio and was stung in the head by a Yellowjacket. There were three HUGE nests. So I sent my husband to the store to buy roach spray and wasp spray. He came back and we killed all the wasps in the nest. 15 total with 12 larvae. 6 roaches just in the living room. The next day we look under the sink to find roach spray and wasp spray.. which shows they knew about the roaches and wasps. That night we walk into the half bath downstairs and the floor is wet and it smells like poop. After some investigation we find it’s the toilet, leaking literal sewage water onto the floor.. so we had to clean that up too. Not even 10 minutes later the internet went out. We call and report the issues, and his exact response was “I’m so sorry to hear about that, is there anything else I can help you with?” No one ever contacted me regarding the internet. It eventually turned back on the next day, but that was the day we were checking out. Needless to say we asked for a refund. Never again.

The worst thing about this vacasa is that there is an old keypad on the front door, and the code is ten digits long and doesn't work. So when you arrive and it's 95° out and you've just bought all your groceries and want to get them into the fridge and freezer - forget it. After digging through all the emails and texts they sent, I finally found a number to call. That person suggested trying again, gad me open up the 3 lock boxes and get out the key which just went round and round In the lock achieving nothing, and then finally let me use their four digit code. I see, by the reviews I'm not the first person to have this problem. Next, there was not enough wifi to watch t v without it buffering every five minutes. As a vacation home, this is an afterthought for the owner, who is selling it. There's one piece of art in the whole place. There are no lamps next to the bedsides. No can opener. Not a full set of measuring cups or spoons. The salt shaker is empty, and besides the pepper, that's the only cooking supplies. Oh, and they don't want you putting any fish in the fridge or freezer!

Great neighborhood, quiet and near shopping restaurants and the water

Located near beach and downtown Rockport. Home is very comfy and had all we needed. We appreciated having the washer and dryer available.

Very little vehicle traffic, nice and quiet area.
