The location was perfect. It felt safe and was in a location that had easy access to SPI and gas/groceries. When inside it is very quiet, but there is significant road noise from the 4 lane highway when outside. The community pool was lovely. The space was clean, bathrooms clean and stocked, and the pool was crystal clear. It wasn't a heated pool but it was a comfortable temperature for swimming the first week of April. The water is very shallow on the bay even when the tide is in. There was nobody that caught fish the week we stayed but there were many trying from the pier or backyards. The birds were very fun to watch. Kids also enjoyed the sport court. The backyard had plenty of furniture, but it needed to be cleaned and could use some new cushions. There was a hose to use to spray off the dirty chairs and bird droppings. There were also 2 charcoal grills. Those were far too greasy and full of ash for me to want to spend my time cleaning. That was a drawback of the backyard. The pergola was nice along with the twinkle lights at night. There is also a kayak for use but it did not have a paddle or a life jacket. You also would need to haul it down to the water access by the pier as the gate in the backyard had a padlock and you could not access the water from there. The house was well stocked. The kitchen had everything one would need. Vacasa even leaves you a starter kit with dish soap, dishwasher detergent and washing machine detergent, along with a kitchen sponge. Bathrooms are stocked with body wash, shampoo and conditioner. The master bedroom has an amazing view of the bay. The sheets I found a bit worn and starting to peel and were too itchy for me. I opted to buy a different set at Walmart, just down the road, and brought them home with me. The bed was comfortable. There was also a ceiling fan in master bedroom which was nice for circulating air. The washer and dryer unit was very handy and convenient outside of the bedrooms. Overall, the house was clean but the dining room chairs and stools need to be replaced. The vinyl on the chairs is ripping and splitting and after each use pieces of the vinyl would be on the floor, stuck in the rolling wheels and then would track all over the house. A previous review mentioned the furniture being worn. It is. It's time for an update. I would definitely stay again if I saw new furniture in the photos of the house. If not, I would opt to stay at one of the other rentals in this HOA as it was a lovely property and had a nice community space.

I booked this for a long weekend with a friend. It was much more affordable than SPI and very close with lovely Laguna Madre views. Community hot tub and pool were very well kept. The beds were softer than I prefer but fine. We spent our days at SPI and our morning and evenings under the pergola at the house, enjoying our coffee and wine and watching the many different types of birds. While the house could use a few minor updates, overall I would not hesitate to stay here again. The cost and proximity to SPI made it worth it.

House as described and perfect for 2 of our crew members. Clean and great location! 1 of our crew members who stayed there indicated they will be reserving for their personal use with family in the near future.

Ideal location, quiet neighborhood and beautiful views

The bright green house is just lovely and right next to the water . Backyard is cozy with grills and plenty of seating. House itself was great! A little worn in, but hey! It's a beach house. Beds were comfy! Kitchen had everything we needed and then some. HEB is just 5 min. Away . Loved our time at this place .
