Great view from the porch 🤩
The view is great and the workstation was very nice. You can not use the fireplace or garage. Bring your own coffee maker, toaster, kettle and clothes hangers as they either don't have those items or the ones they do have are broken or damaged. There are literally 17 gigantic coffee mugs and one tiny 2 cup broken coffee maker. Keep in mind that this rental is managed by a large corporation so you will not get any of the common courtesy items or attention you typically get from a VRBO host such as a welcome starter basket with coffee, tea, snacks etc. and instructions about the house or what to do with recyclables. Watch out for the bears! There is a very large resident black bear. You will get virtually no warnings about them. If you don't have a 4wheel drive vehicle then pulling out of the steep dirt driveway and up on to the paved road is rough, especially if you're going to the right. Traffic moves fast! There's a blind corner to the left and a steep hill to the right. You have to pull out fast! The deck is nice but NOT safe for small children! Watch out for the dryer door if you're using the washer/dryer. It will clobber you in the face or head if you don't hold it open with one hand while you gather your items from the washer. The house is basically a nice, comfortable house that's pretty convenient to town. It's relatively quiet aside from the trucks and motorcycles roaring up and down the road. You're pretty much just paying for the view. Could be better especially for the amount of money you pay.
if you want peace and quite place to be, nice views
We stayed over thanksgiving week and had a blast. My kids enjoyed the space by the pond, waking up every morning to some beautiful duck families, and a hot chocolate machine. Doesn't get much better than that!
The home was spacious, clean, and quiet. It was lovely to sit out on the deck in the morning and gave our family of four plenty of room to spread out.
Great house!! Much nicer than the pics. The view from the deck was better than expected. Very convenient location. We loved the place, one of the best we have ever rented.
