Overview

Here on the north side of the island, it's a quick stroll (half a mile) to Long Island Beach and an easy drive to both Center Harbor (nine miles) and Moultonborough (10 miles). Begin each morning with coffee at sunrise on the elevated deck, and set the outdoor table for breakfast beneath the umbrella. After a day of paddleboarding or fishing for rainbow trout, use the gas grill on the side patio to prepare dinner and gather back upstairs on the deck for cocktails and card games. The single-story interior is bright and open, with views of the lake and trees framed by walls of glass. At the heart of the house is a spacious great room, bringing together a well-equipped kitchen, a dining area, and a living room with a Roku TV. Central air, a washer/dryer, and complimentary WiFi are provided as well. Things to Know Streaming services are available with guests' own account credentials. Check-in time: 4:00 PM. Check-out time: 10:00 AM. All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. Use of fire pit is prohibited

We enjoyed our stay at Leawood Shores. The house was nice and had an open concept layout. Overall the kitchen was well stocked. There were a few items that would be a good add - hard plastic cutting board, large frypan with lid and a potato masher. The Weber grill outside was in good condition. We used it several times. The bedrooms were good size and each had a queen and twin bed. A small lamp on the night stand in each room would be helpful. The bathroom was large. It could use a towel bar or peg rack to hang towels. There is plenty of room to add this. Also convenient to have a washer and dryer at the house. It was nice to have a boat slip for the week. It allowed us to bring our pontoon boat. The location was good as it was in a somewhat protected area so the water was not as rough as on the main part of the lake. Also near a loon nesting sanctuary so we saw and heard the loons. The house is located on a private road so there is very little traffic. Overall it was a very good experience and we would stay there again.

I loved everything about this rental. One floor living, central air, everything provided - sheets, towels , soap etc. the back deck was fabulous..lovely sun, view of the water.. ate breakfast out there every day . It was extremely clean and had every amenity you would need. Instructions for everything clearly posted… tv, WiFi, trash disposal. Having a washer and dryer meant you could pack lighter. Quiet but convenient to everything. I honestly don’t have anything negative to say. Looking forward to going back next summer

This is a fantastic house. Very clean and updated. It had everything we needed, and it was in a beautiful area with beautiful views. The couch and beds were comfortable! We would stay here again.
