Its lakefront location was a standout, with breathtaking views, abundant natural light, and inviting spaces like the deck and screened porch to take in the scenery. Guests especially enjoyed the quiet lake experience for swimming, fishing, paddling, and spending time on the docks, and appreciated the available kayaks, canoe, and other water gear.

This home is the perfect retreat for families! Plenty of room for everyone inside the home and a quiet neighborhood to enjoy the outdoors. We enjoyed swimming and floating in the clean water, caught lots of fish off the dock with the kids, and used the canoe and kayaks every day we were there. The scenery was beautiful! We hope to return next summer!

The lake and docks/stairs setup work very well. The house is expansive and comfortable, with abundant natural lighting plus the lake view.

Our family came from all over the East Coast to this little hideaway in Gilmanton for a weeklong Christmas celebration. The house was absolutely perfect - comfortable and casual, spacious, warm, and well-equipped for our multi-generational gathering. No one, not even the dogs, wanted to leave when time was up! There was nothing "fancy" about the home, and the layout seemed a bit awkward at first (one full bath on each floor), but as we settled in, the charm of this home really grew on us. Plenty of space for games and puzzles, work and movies, and gloriously private and serene. The best part of our winter stay was the plow guy, Ed, who went above and beyond to keep the home accessible and the driveway cleared. He became an extension of the family by the end of our stay! I can only imagine the summertime is even better. We highly recommend this charming home, look forward to a day when the fireplace is repaired, but unanimously agree that this was our favorite vacation rental EVER.

House was terrific - beautiful location. 20-25 min to major grocery stores and some restaurants. Very nice lake for swimming and water play! Loved listening to the loons and we had visits from a bald eagle as well! Please know that there is limited surface area on the stovetop - can only use two large pots and pans OR 3 (maybe 4) small ones. All in all - we had a fantastic stay with 8 adults, 4 teenagers, 2 little ones, and one dog.

This property was amazing for a getaway with my lifetime friends and families. The house was extremely clean and spacious & the lake was beautiful! We hope to turn this into a yearly experience & would highly recommend this house!
