Great layout for families with young children. Kitchen was well-stocked. Everything was clean and fresh. Nice deck out front with treetop view of the water.

We had an amazing stay with my family. The location couldn’t be more perfect—nestled right next to Gunstock Mountain and Lake Winnipesaukee, it offered a lot for everyone. We had lazy days and we had busy days. Skiing at Gunstock was just a 5-minute drive away, and it was the perfect family-friendly mountain. We also loved that there was an ice rink nearby for skating, and we even went sledding right on the property, which was so much fun! After a day in the snow, we hung out in the big family room, played board games with views of the lake and just enjoyed a nice, lazy vacation. It looks like there is a marina within walking distance for those looking to stay in the summer. The local restaurants were also a highlight—there were so many options just a short drive away. We went to a pub that just was an 2 min drive away, pizza in Meredith, Mexican food in Laconia, and went to a brewery in Meredith. 2 days it was a bit cold for skiing so we went to the movie theater with the kids nearby, Fun spot (bowling, arcade), and went to the outlet in Tilton for shopping and more food. The house itself was spotless and well-maintained, which made our stay even more enjoyable. It was stocked with everything we needed for the perfect getaway—comfortable furnishings, a well-equipped kitchen, and all the essentials to make us feel at home. It was also incredibly peaceful and quiet, making it the perfect place to unwind after the kids went to bed. We highly recommend this place and can’t wait to come back!

We absolutely loved our stay in Gilford! This house is so spacious, with two separate living rooms! It was nice for the kids to have their own space and TV in the evenings. It’s cozy with beautiful views of the lake, so relaxing to watch it freeze over. We ate at Patrick’s pub just at the end of the road, delicious food and even better service. It was nice not to have to drive far for things like dinner and groceries. We skied at nearby Gunstock, it’s only ten minutes down the road so it was easy to break for lunch at the house before heading back! I was concerned about the driving because of the winter weather but the plows were very efficient and the driveway and street were properly sanded and plowed regularly. We even enjoyed walks down to the docks despite the cold weather. Can’t wait to come back!

The proximity to, and view of, the lake is awesome. Huge home, accommodates a large extended family like ours. Love the big bedroom upstairs, perfect for the kids to hang out and have fun playing games, etc. The home is both cozy and spacious.
