Rating
This was a beautifully situated place to stay for a concert at the NH Bank Pavilion and a day trip into Wolfeboro. We had no idea that it was bike week, and this spot gave us flexibility to rearrange our plans for the day.
The home was okay but some issues were: Pile of sheets laying on the couch and there were either rodent droppings or some type of seeds in them and on the coffee table. Dirty washcloth in the shower. Couch’s were dirty, did not feel comfortable sitting on them without covering them first. Property description a little deceiving. Stated beach access which makes it sound like the beach is close and it’s not even within walking distance. Stated views but the only view of the mountains and water is from the top deck outside the bedroom.
the property was not cleaned. All the Dishes had schmutz on them. All the emenities, furniture and appliances were very old, there were no board games or little things you expect from a bnb. Overall I was let down by the experience.
Such a great location near mountains and the lake. Nice cozy home.
Easy access to Laconia and Alton
Gave it 4 stars because, although the inside of the house was spotless and well maintained with all needed amenities, the outside of the house was horrible. The patio was really dirty. Dead tree leaves, branches, etc. Along with beer caps and cigarette butts on the deck floor. Landscaping needs a little TLC and they never emptied the trash from the previous guests. The trash was left in the garage in 2 trash cans, not even in garbage bags. Started to smell. There was trash and old construction materials left behind the house. I sent a message, but no response. The house is in a great location, close to a lot of things to do. To bad to property itself is not well maintained.
