Perfect Family Getaway Minge Cove Alton

Clean! Beautiful lake view, pillows and towels very good, lots of steep steps to unit, very nice poker table, lots of games available, great bedrooms, plus two private balconies, very nice grill, lots of dishes. Great location. Very good would return.

We visited in mid-October, we were impressed by the space and cleanliness of this rental. We will be looking to book again in the summer to get the full experience of the lake front property.

I hesitate to write a good review bc I don’t want too many people to discover this place. Location on the water is amazing. It’s private despite people living on both sides. The view is great out to Cub/Treasure/Sleepers Islands. Great water for swimming. I don’t think the pictures do it justice. It’s easy to an imagine a family w kids fully enjoying a week here in the water, playing games and hanging out. This trip was just my wife and I and we loved hanging outside when it was warm and looking out at the water on the cooler days from the living room. Pretty easy to get yourself to dinner spots or things to do from where it is. I prefer this side of lake bc you can easily get to Alton or Weirs for activities or eating. Quick plug for Gilford Village Store for sandwiches - only 15 mins away from house and worth it.

family arrived from New Zealand and South Africa . 8 people fantastic location . Everything needed for a comfortable stay. Great value for money . Spent many hours around fire pit looking at the lake tremendous sunsets and being with family .

Beautiful spot! Lovely home with lots of cozy sitting areas inside and out on the lakefront patios. We were a group of 7 older adults -some in our group found the many stairs leading to the property a challenge. That said, we all agreed it was well worth the effort and we’d love visit again.
