Sunrise Bay is described as a beautiful, modern, and well-appointed home that provided a great experience and felt perfect for a family retreat. Guests appreciated that the property was very clean, comfortable, and kept cool, making for a relaxing and peaceful stay. Its lakefront setting was praised as great, with a convenient dock experience noted by guests. The property is especially admired for its beautiful sunsets and great views. Guests also enjoyed the thoughtful touches throughout the home, including games and puzzles for family time. Sunrise Bay left guests eager to return and highly recommend the property.

Overview

The beautiful fully equipped kitchen has stainless steel appliances and everything you will need for enjoying home-cooked meals or preparing for that family cookout. There is plenty of space for the whole family to spread out with two living areas and a spacious deck looking out over the water. Overlooking the water, the deck is perfect for entertaining and expands across the entire back of the home with plenty of seating, a large table, and a grill for outdoor dining or visiting with friends. The front yard is large and perfect for lawn games. There is also a dock and sandy beach on the property with one boat slip available that will accommodate up to a 24 ft boat. The clear waters and mild waves allow for plenty of swimming and fishing right from the dock. A true highlight of the home is the basement game room that features a sectional and TV, shuffleboard table, cards, puzzles, and board games. It’s the perfect place to retreat to when the weather is colder. Things to Know Window units are provided in all bedrooms and the Sunrise Bay/Estate has two mini-splits, one in the basement, and one in the living room. With the beautiful views there are five flights of steps (78 steps in total) to get down to the dock and beach area. To make the trek easier, the slanted railings have a hard plastic cover for easy gripping and there is a bench halfway down to rest if needed. Please be aware of this for any guests who may have limited mobility as they may not be comfortable accessing the private dock.

The home was Beautiful. The steps to water were challenging for those with knee issues but we all did it and the water was Great

The home itself was everything to be expected. The stairs are definitely steep to get down to the dock but I knew that when booking. After we checked in and read the house handbook, it stated that there is a cottage on the property and other people could rent it/the owners might stay there during our stay. Also, the book said that the porch and the dock are shared spaces with the cottage. That was not in the booking information and if I would have saw that I would have probably have not booked this house. Thankfully we only crossed paths with the people staying in the cottage once, but I was very caught off guard when the book said the porch was a shared space since it’s directly off of the main house and we had two sliding glass doors leading out to it.

Beautiful home with a great view and location. The home had all the amenities needed for a wonderful vacation. Family friendly with games and wifi for rainy days. The dock was worth the steps.

The home is very well appointed and modern. The name speaks for itself with the beautiful sunsets. There are plenty of amenities from the kayaks to all of the games and puzzles. We were able to get the family together for our annual family retreat and couldn't have asked for anything better. I would highly recommend this home to anyone and am also looking forward to returning again. Many thanks to the host family for sharing their beautiful property with us.

This home was on a great location on the lake. We rented a 24' pontoon and kept it tied at the dock for 3 days and nights with no problems. The home was very clean and well equipped. We met the owners and they were extremely nice and gave some excellent advice for the property and town. The weather was unusually hot while we were there but the ac units kept all rooms nice and cool. The steps from the dock back to the house are something to be reckoned with but are doable for the average person. We would definitely rent this home again.

We enjoyed our stay and all agree the view was worth it all. We did experience some issues getting into the house with the lack of instructions. The house could have used a good vacuuming but overall, it did not ruin our stay.
