Sunset Dunes offers a spacious, comfortable setting with essential furnishings that help guests feel at home. Guests consistently praised the cleanliness and well-stocked condition of the property. Overview

To access the broad stretch of beautiful beach, simply stroll half a mile up or down the road (or bring your car, since you can drive on the beach here). It's a place to spend your days clamming, beachcombing, surfing, or teeing off at the Ocean Shores Golf Course just over a mile south. Please keep in mind there is no elevator and stairs are required to enter the condo. You'll feel relaxed and at ease as soon as you step through the door, with a view of the ocean framed by the rear balcony doors. Step outside and breathe in the salty sea air, or curl up by the electric fireplace to stream movies on the smart TV. When you feel like staying in for dinner, you'll have a well-equipped kitchen with every essential. Leave the day's swimsuits in the washer/dryer, check tomorrow's surf report using the complimentary WiFi, and sleep soundly in a private bedroom with its own smart TV. Things to Know Check-in time: 4:00 PM. Check-out time: 10:00 AM. All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.

The room was perfect for my husband and I and our two dogs. There was plenty of room and had all the essentials to make it feel like home. Their doggy area was perfect but it is not fenced off which was not an issue at all. If you don’t mind adventuring to the beach from the hotel, there was a couple small trails you can take through the bushes and dunes for a quick 5 min walk to the beach. Downtown was a short drive away. Highly recommend renting e-bikes to see the town! Overall we had a great time and would def be coming back in the future.

We booked a two-night stay in Ocean Shores hoping for a relaxing getaway from the Olympia heat, but unfortunately, our experience turned out to be anything but relaxing. From the start, we had trouble even getting into the condo. The lock instructions were unclear, and after a long day of travel with our dog, we had to spend about an hour figuring out how to unlock the door. A simple note on how the lock worked would have saved us a lot of frustration. Once inside, we found that the condo was lacking a lot of the basics it promised. There were no toiletries provided, no coffee, no extra sheets or blankets for the second sleeping area, and no firewood for the fireplace. The bed was extremely uncomfortable with scratchy, low-quality sheets, and we barely got any sleep. On top of that, the TV took ages to start up, the cable stopped working, and the condo was on a third floor with no elevator, which would be a big problem for anyone with mobility issues. The one positive was the view of the ocean from the balcony, but it didn’t make up for the overall disappointment. In the end, we decided not to stay the second night. It’s also worth noting that this rental was managed by a third party, and it felt like no one had a personal stake in making sure the place was comfortable. Communication was poor, and it just wasn’t worth the money. Overall, I’d strongly recommend avoiding this place and frankly, looking for a different vacation spot entirely.
