Lake Sutherland Ski Condo

The condo’s condition did not match our expectations. The air conditioning was not working during our stay, the windows would not stay open for ventilation, and several pieces of furniture were unstable. The decor and furnishings were quite dated, and the unit appeared in need of maintenance and updating.

Such a beautiful place. We loved being right on the water. The kids caught several fish right off the dock. The canoe was used and appreciated, and the swimming was great. At night using the propane fire pit was so lovely and easy, and gave the best ambiance. There were a few things with the house itself. First off, I had read in earlier reviews that the kitchen was kind of sparse. It didn't find that to be the case. There were spices, salt/pepper, and even some oils to cook with. The problems we had were mostly due to whoever cleaned. - In both bathrooms are 12oz bottles attached to the shower walls for shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, which was great to see. However, body wash bottles in both bathrooms were empty and after one day the shampoo bottles in both bathrooms were empty. Wish they had been refilled for us. -Dishwasher detergent had not been left for us either. Didn't realize this until I loaded dishwasher at checkout and didn't have soap. Debated leaving a dishwasher full of dirty dishes, but was nervous the cleaner would mistake them for clean and put them away. I say this because the first plate we grabbed in the cupboard upon arriving had dried food on it, which at the time, I took to mean it just hadn't been cleaned well in the dishwasher. Suddenly, I wasn't so sure... I ended up handwashing the dishes. -The view from the living room window is gorgeous! But we had to look past a lot of little hands prints and smudges from previous guests to enjoy it. It would have been so nice, and such an easy thing to do, to make sure that particular window is cleaned for guests. Overall, we'd still definitely stay again. Being right on the lake elevated our whole trip! Loved it!

My family of five and I enjoyed a wonderful week near all the Olympic Park and Northwester Washington has to offer. The lake house was the perfect start and end to our day trips into the park and the many beaches just a short ride away. Comfortable entertaining floor with the kitchen and floor to ceiling windows of Lake Sutherland. The large room provided privacy while the kids stayed up as long as they wanted on the lower level. All the beds were clean and comfortable. We used the canoe several times and swam in the safe dedicated swimming area. I would recommend this place and hope to book again someday!

The location was perfect for visiting the national park and the view each day was amazing!

Just on the lake, equipped with everything you can imagine! High end stuff. Highly recommended! We will come again for sure
