There are some cool swimming spots about 7 minutes up the road. The pictures didnt match the description of the home. The pictures made the bedrooms look much bigger. The trail to the river was basically over grown with weeds and washed through. I had to fill up the hottub myself and the water stinks worse than rotten eggs. I tried to get some help with the tv because there was a code on it and language was stuck to spanish and no one would help me with it so i didnt get to watch the TV provided all weekend.

The SkyZenRetreat was secluded and private. It had good sized , pleasant rooms and comfortable beds. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and it was nice to have a washer and dryer for laundry. A great looking deck which we did not get to use due to weather. The one downside was that the outlet in the bathroom and one outlet in the master bedroom were not functioning. Though we called it in, it was not fixed before we left. Overall a very good place to stay.

Hot tub is perfect. The big deck is really nice. Quiet, except for when the train goes by, several times a day.... and night. ZERO cellphone service

Obviously the sub zero weather and 3 separate power outages were not in the control of the property, but some emergency supplies would have been helpful. Nice place in a pleasant location. Hot tub was nice when we could use it.
