I like the design/decor-calming and everything matched. You provided with everything anyone ever needed outside of their home as if we were home. I liked the tourist info.too. The labels for everything helped.
This is a fantastic little cottage for one or two folks. I was there by myself. It's a beautifully renovated home; I wondered if it was the original home on the property because there is another home on the lot, that I'm guessing belongs to the hosts. I was very comfortable, and everything one could need or want is provided, just lovely. But, if you are looking for a place on the water, you will be disappointed. The larger owners' home sits in the way of any view. I travelled south a ways to the two state parks and found a gorgeous spot at the Maple Grove boat launch to be near the water. I stayed for two days and wish I had had three. I was glad to have gone in April when the island is quiet. I would recommend the same to other visitors.
We took the time to visit the parks on the island and further north, very beautiful. It gave us time to relax, and enjoy nature. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Clean, well organized and stocked, quiet
Well appointed, owner added many details. Quiet and very comfortable.
This little place is so well taken care of and stocked perfectly! It was exceptionally clean and had lots of thoughtful touches. We loved it for a cozy refuge after busy days exploring the island. The only drawback is the bed. It is very soft, and the pillows are as well. If you need a supportive pillow, be sure to bring your own. :)
