Salty Shores

We had a magical one night stay at this wonderful beach house on Camano Island. The home is spotless, exceptionally comfortable and beautifully decorated. The attention to detail is obvious in every room. We were lacking for nothing. There’s a lovely deck with a large table and chairs for outdoor dining and sofa and chairs where we sat around the fire table and enjoyed the spectacular view of the bay while watching for whales, sea lions, seals and eagles. It was the perfect escape into a lovely, serene seascape. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. We’ll definitely be back !

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Salty Shores! Everything was tastefully and thoughtfully decorated and everything we needed was provided. The location was beautiful and we even got to see some orcas playing in Port Susan. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and know that when we visit Camano Island again, we'll be back. My only regret is that it came to an end so quickly.

Our stay at Salty Shores was absolutely unforgettable! The home itself is beautiful, and you can truly see how much care, thought, and attention to detail the owners put into every part of the renovations. Every space feels welcoming, comfortable, and designed for guests to relax and enjoy. The highlight for us was the incredible deck overlooking the water. We spent hours outside taking in the views and were lucky enough to watch orcas swim by, a gray whale pass through, eagles flying overhead, and seals playing in the water. It was such a magical experience. In the evenings, we curled up on the comfy outdoor couch by the fire table, enjoyed a glass of wine, and watched the stars — it honestly couldn’t have been more perfect. The neighborhood was peaceful, and the neighbors we met were so friendly and welcoming. The host went above and beyond and even reached out to let us know when whales were nearby so we could get out on the deck in time to see them. That extra thoughtfulness made our stay even more special. Salty Shores is truly a special place, and we are already looking forward to coming back. We highly recommend it!
